In regard to question 4, why did you do multiplication after the division? Is it because you already did one set of multiplication already with the parenthesis? Or, what is the rule there? I knew the rest thankfully 👌 but that one stumped me.

Rule is PEMDAS for order of operations. Parentheses exponents multiplication division addition subtraction. From left to right.

@@ColfaxMath so, once you knock out the parenthesis and exponents, you just go left to right, even if division is before the multiplication?

i really appreciate you for the video.this will help many test takers to have the fundamental knowledge. i'm about to take mine very soon can you make a video on lines and angles(relation ship between perpendicular and parallel lines) thats where i'm not confident yet. Again thanks for the content

Math is only a small portion of the exam

@@phantomofdeath3429 actually math is a big portion of the exam as it is graded on your math knowledge and verbal expression I got all my word knowledge and paragraph comprehension questions right but I did so bad on the math that I got a 22 on the test and failed

@@ColfaxMath good morning, and I do study the only weaknesses I have is division and working with operations substitution and angles and I’ve been studying very hard to improve on those and word knowledge I think on paragraph comprehension I’m a little more decent and in general science . Pretty much I’d really like to know what formulas or a memorizable chart so i can begin training my ability to knock those problems down and improve on my AFQT

I don't know what will be on the exam. There will be some math that will be very similar to this though

@Dc Took the ASVAB and got 62 but wasn’t satisfied so I’m taking it again today but i can confirm it’ll be on ASVAB.

*Update* Got 87, and finished up with my medical portion yesterday and passed that too. Sent my job lists to my sergeant and waiting for my deployment after job is available.

@@Houston_Smh you’ll be fine, just keep a calm mind and make sure to study as much as you can. Also one advice I would give is that, they give problems that can be used in real life situations so just try your best to pick answers that would make the best sense.
