@@Nosange No he was good for that whole tournament. Pure class. Total dominance. By far the best of the tournament and a shame they didn't win that, he deserved it. But at least he went out with a banger.
Have you ever seen Vladimir Putin play football. He could beat any of these jokers any day. He is best football player of world besides being best leader of world and best scientist of world and best businessman of world and best at everything. Even his fart 💨 is holy for us in Russia. We bow 🙇♂️ down to him. We pray 🙏🏻 to him. If he says jump we jump. We are his pet 🐶
Zidane, Henry, Viera, Davids, all staying in great shape!! Zidane and Henry graceful as ever, Davids keeping his trademark aggressiveness. Absolutely entertaining match. Thank you for the upload!
Zidane and Henry, my two favorite players of all time. It's bitter sweet to see them play again, knowing that this could be the last time. I still remember waking up at midnight just to see them play in the World Cup. How cruel is this life because they are still great, but father time is undefeated.
Zidane is something from another player. You feel that he is invincible when he gets the ball. Zidane decides the fate of game, others can only act with. What a player . There has been no other player like him after 2006, there will never ever be another player like him. He is absolute supreme level.
Zidane still oozing class. Just a magnificent player. There have been many great players over the years but none able to have such total control over a match like Zidane. A poetic genius.
henry speed is fire. he still has vision and elegance when he dribble, his fake pass also one of his special skill. i love how he jugg the ball even theres enemy around him haha. he is my fav player all time till today
What did he do Never been big game player Scored one goal semi final when barcelona was 4 goal up Never scored 9 final games. So been epl top can win him best player. Iam arsenal fan, but he was great player no doubt. Look at him final against barcelona. Miss to great chances
Agreed a fantastic player in the EPL, when the EPL wasn't the league it is today. Now the tops teams are the ones to beat in the champs league, back then on average they were fighting for a quarter final place. Henry didn't set the world on fire, he set the English Premier league on fire during a time of transition from the normal English game to introducing more foreign players and different styles. I'm in no way knocking him, he is still top 3 Premier league players of all time but with the quality of players now arriving this will no doubt be in question in the next 10/15 years and he will be bumped down lower in the list. He is a tier below the guys we think of when we talk about the best of the best.@@aliisse3397
@@aliisse3397 He scored 30+ goals with 20+ assists in the 2003 season. Thats ballon d'or. Nedved was a great player but was he really better then Henry that year?
@@aliisse3397 if you can't acknowledge henry as one of the best strikers in the history of the game you are either blind or started watching football yesterday
As a german, I was 12 years old during the Tournament 1998. I knew/know every name, even today! The 98-team was mindblowing. Everyone was a supporter of France at that time.
@@yossiwibowo1786becouse are HIS favourite players, not yours, also if you put all brazilian then mean probably you did start to watch football yesterday and know only them
Zidane is such a joy to watch, gliding effortlessly on the field, excellent vision.....what a brilliant player, a legend. Mid-fielders should book a masterclass with him for sure!
Good to see Davids and Kluivert there and with that still some Dutchmen at events like this. There are there because the Dutch team of 98 was full of legends.
Zidane is the greatest French player to ever play. Look at him and Henry, man. Talent doesn't just go. They have that still Also, let's not forget Davids too, what a player he was. 98 was the year I fell in love with football. And what a time to love it. All them players such as Ronaldo, Rivaldo, R.Carlos, Cafu, Scholes, Owen, Beckham, Giggs, Keane, Bergkamp, Overmars, Maldini, Del Piero, man the list can go on and on. What a time to be alive back then. The 90s was full of the best of the best in all sports. We had Senna in F1 in the early 90s until is passing, we had Jordan killing it in basketball. Tyson in boxing. We had sports entertainment at its height with Stone Cold, Taker, The Rock, and Shawn Michaels. I am, with a doubt, missing a lot of people off this list. I am just grateful I got to see these people, these superstars! In my life. 😊
Couldn't have said it better! I grew to like the game while living in Naples in the mid 80s (Maradona). I fell in love with the French team in '98, following French players every since. After my USMNT, its always been my favorite. The players are so incredibly skilled and showy but also aggressive in attack. When they can play/defend as a team they're unstoppable.
@Tadaia isn't a joy to be able to say these are the players we grew up watching. I can't take anything away from Messi and CR7. Messi is arguably the greatest now. But back then, every league had some world-class players or players. It was so stacked. Hated Arsenal growing up as I am a United fan. But I loved Henry.
I remember growing up with so much love and appreciation to the 1998 generation of French football, and how I sincerely wanted them to win the 2006 world cup. Football was never the same since... Seriously how do they look like they haven't aged a day? Zizou's playing style, Henry's faints... Good days :)
AWW zindane is one of my all time favourites was few yr younger than him so saw so my era of football and for Henry what a goal scorer he was for arsenal well love from Scotland both are football greats
I love watching this because it's kinda funny how despite they're out of shape and older now, they're all still elite players. The passing, vision, finishing, composure, and just overall skill is still and will always be there. They just can't run with the same intensity as when they were younger.
