No. It's always been this way. Always. However, technology, interconnectivity, and weaponry are all FAR, far, faaarrr more deadly and readily available. Think about it. In 1940... what kind of weaponry could a 24 year-old get ahold of? Even if it was substantial, how would they learn how to use it? In 202x, technology, resources, and weaponry are all substantially more powerful.

I was thinking the same thing. Reporter didn't specify, but if the murderer was inspired by a "mass shooting abroad," well, America is the land of the gunslayers. Because Czexh Republic is one of the least religious countries in the world. There's like around 20-25% of people who claim to be of any religion. The rest is agnostic or atheist. So, since the guy was Czech, there's quite snalk chance he was Christian or Muslim or whatever else.

It's pretty difficult to get a gun here. Psych tests, lessons, evaluations.. takes upto a year to get a permit for 1 gun. He stole this one, so I don't think it would make sense to blame the laws.
