As a Czech person, a student of this school, and a lucky survivor of this attack on top of that...I want to ask you to follow the instructions of the Czech government and the police and DO NOT share the attacker's face nor name. He deserves no publicity whatsoever and experience shows giving them attention they craved only inspires other sick individuals.

I have had one of my most beautiful experiences when I visited Prague in 2019 for an International Ballroom Dance competition. Beautiful city, interesting history, easy going people. This is so painful to think that this man had such evil in him.

As Czech citizen must write, please don't spread lies,our law is strict,is not easy to purchase gun. But is our historical heritage to have shooting skills cos we has been taking down twice during 100year. Ones by Nazis and ones by Communists. 99%of young people specially students has no resources to buy legally the arsenal this killer had. Is pretty expensive in my country to get legally such arsenal. He was from upper middclass family, so he wss supported with plenty money by his parents.Now police investigating some guns could be stolen from his father cos he killed him in the morning that day. If his parents kick him out of the house to pay his own rent, pay his expenses and let him start common living problems as any other people have than he couldn't spend money for this hobby in such short term.Just another golden kid who couldn't managed his own f...ng life. I am glad the officials talked the way guns itself doesn't kill, mad men and criminal does!!!!

You're right, all good things, but, I fear this trend is mainly more due to a worldwide malaise of mental disorders, and easy access to guns and ammo, etc. Even in places where on the surface, it's said to hard to get such weapons. There's always a source, though. Plus political/religious/idelogical terrorism in some cases.

Gun crime is very rare, we have many hunters etc.. Gun law is very lax? In what way? If a crazy person wants to hurt, he will find way. We should rather ask, why so much hatred to other people? The motivation.

As someone who has been through issues relating to thoughts of harming other people, I cannot stand the "insane people will always find a way of hurting people" argument about guns. I cannot begin to explain how ridiculously untrue this is to a neurotypical. I can say with toal certainty that if I had lived in America--or any country with lax gun laws, I'd be in jail (or in the ground) right now. It is not a matter of easy acquirement of something to use. It is a literally just a matter of getting a GUN--A GUN, full stop. I only wanted to hurt people if I could do it with a gun (there are many reasons for this, but none of them would be able to be comprehended by the mind of neurotypical). I cannot seem to get this concept drilled into peoples heads. Neurotypicals frustrate me to no end.

If somebody feels and wants and has will to hurt other people (being officially insane or not), he will find way (knife, frozen lamb leg) to hurt others - I did not mean it dogmaticly, and thanks for providing me your individual and very interesting case. The question is what is lax gun law, in Czechia we do have several conditions to fulfill to get licence and still low gun criminality. We should rather ask why so much hate, where this thought comes from, how to work with it...psychotherapeutically, family therapy, even on nutritional level (lack of vitamin B12), making sure to meet all needs during developmental level etc.@@chickensandwichman5443

Gun by standards like to obtain a licenced India your waiting time can go from 1.5 year to God knows how many years. Even with alot of money to obtain a licenced gun it would take somewhere between 1.5 years to 3 years. These guns are nothing but pistol or revolvers.

Of course all people can think about is that they haven't called it terrorism or not yet. That word has really made people salty. It's pretty simple and they explained that they haven't found terrorist motives yet. In politics, an "act" of terrorism is the calculated use of violence or threat of violence to inculcate fear intended to coerce or intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological. The Christ church shooter and Texas shooter were dubbed terrorists for this reason, because they had ideological goals in carrying out their crime (white supremacy). Same with many people who have carried out violence for Islam. It will be called terrorism when/if it is found to be so.

I speak Czech and I lived 20years in the center of Prague. And I know this philosophical faculty of Charles University, I know students from there, teachers etc. THE MAIN POINT: drugs drugs drugs drugs drugs ... which creates prostitution, corruption, violence, mentally strongly damaged people etc. So: NO SURPRISE TO ME what happened. And Czech police made mistakes this day, but they will hide them carefully. Czech politics conc. drugs are a total desaster, you can buy drugs in Prague center day and night without any real trouble, mostly sold by Jugoslavian and Albanian mafiosi, which live in tenthousands in Prague since Balkan wars. Everybody knows it, nobody does anything, many policemen are involved in it by corruption.
