Hey!....I just came across your video! Thanks for sharing this bit of info. I have a At Max....LOVE THAT MACHINE! I still have my Garrett Master Hunter CX detector from the early to late 1990's....THAT MACHINE IS A WORK HORSE BEAST!!!! Found A LOT coins with that machine!.....definitely enough to fill a suit case....and I have a suit case full of coins to prove it! LOLOLOL. I just saw a comment too about a "reset" on battery changing! WOW! I DIDN'T KNOW THIS! "I do now!" I'm going to subscribe to your channel and check out more of your metal detecting adventures. I LOVE METAL DETECTING! I have always told my friends "That the ground is like one big Cracker Jack box!...you never know what surprise is inside!"
Very useful video, when folks start getting into higher end machines it can be frustrating to get them dialed in, this is recommend buy Garrett as well!. Great video. All the best in the field!
the max has the auto ground balance that you have to move the machine up and down until number stops changing. also I was told by someone else that holding the power button just puts everything back to factory settings. they didnt say nothing about calibration
I ALways reset and then reprogram i have 5 different loops I change from with my At pro never noticed any difference but I think it is a great ideal to do anyways .. Thanks Al
Interesting I did not know that I had to reset my machine when I change my coil. I always ground balance my machine and I check my settings. There's a lot of minerals in the soil out here. ATB HH
You still ground balance but resetting sort of re-bonds the console to the present coil. The function was placed there for a reason. I just never ever thought of it until now
