I was in a children's home for ten years before I was ten years old for a physical disability. It is good all of you to entertain and give these children much attention and love. They love you back in much thankfulness.
Sergey B you made a wonderful Father Frost. I'm sure, like your friend said, the kids REALLY loved having you there. It was very kind of you to do it. It indicates a big and loving heart and a lot of character. You're a nice guy, Sergey B. You really are.
Sergey! What a nobel act you did for that institute and those families! I have the highest respect for you because of your Father Frost. I am certain the staff and families were very happy you were there for their children. You have earned my greatest respect. Spasibo!
I grew up during the cold war and as children we had a lot of fear as I'm sure the Soviet children did as well. This fills me with such joy. What beautiful people! And what a great use of the internet. Thank you.
This video is very touching.. I'm a schoolteacher (Computer teacher) and I think kids are the best of this world. I really apreciate people as you spend their time visiting rehabilitation centers and schools for children with disabilities.
You do your country a great service by showing the rest of the world "The real Russia" I use to know nothing but stereo typical things and now I see Russia with a whole new positive prospective. Thank you for sharing parts of your life with us. Much Love, You are a kind soul. God Bless you!
I think Segey's English is part of the charm of the program. There has never been a time that I didn't understand his meaning. He has a great spirit and is very likable. Good program, and interesting perspective on daily Russian life.
Bless you my friend , that was great and you did well , must we remember at that time its a time for careing and respecting each other when kids around , many bessings for all , David USA ......
Good job guys! I'm from Minnesota and Russia is on my list to visit soon! Keep up the videos, I feel like I know you two, just a couple of regular locals showing us a day in the life!
Guy's, it takes a true, good heart and to be humble. Not just to entertain Us, but the beauty you both do for the Children. This was beautiful guy's! Keep being you, eh.
It's great to see special needs kids are cared for in those environments, I don't know if there are a lot of them in your city but seeing at least those ones cared for is very nice. And you're awesome for doing that, many people would not.
You guys did a great thing and I can't imagine how happy the kids were! I am sure not every one would dress up like Дед Мороз and spend time with people who needed it like that. I love the series and the cultural insight it gives and just want to say thank you for all the hard work you put into it. спасибо!
Real Russia clearly has real men who arent afraid to get involved with people less capable than oursleves. Good man, you have my respect and keep up the good work!
Yeah, we covered that in the comments a few months ago. It is just a matter of translation. Sergey has a heart of gold, and he meant no disrespect. After all, they are showing us the real RUSSIA, and was simply stating it, as it is in Russia. They don't necessarily have the same sensitivities to "political correctness" that we have in the US. I think it's very admirable that Sergey did this for the kids. Have a good day.
It is amazing. My son is autistic and this hits really close to me. You are a great man for supporting your friend and this center. In the US there are several programs that support the mentally handicapped and children in the autism spectrum. Keep up the great work and thank you so much for showing this great side of Russia.
These are very special people. From what I can see through the camera, they are no different from the special people in my country (USA). I was blessed with a daughter that is special and she has enriched my life like nothing else could have. She is 43 years old now and still lives with me. She makes me smile many times every day, when there is little else that would do so. You have a good heart Sergey. "THEY" know the difference. ♥
that was the nicest and most adorable thing I have ever seen!! you guys are great!! :D and I love how you show the real life in Russia keep up the awesome work! :D
I love your show. My name is Jeff. I live in Baltimore, Maryland. My city is about 45 minutes from Washington DC. It is nice to see the The every day lives of the real Russian people. I would love to visit your great country someday. Keep up the good work.
Sergey, I've watched many of your videos. But this time, when you put on the beard you took on a sincere demeanor when you said, "You're watching the real Russia." Yes sir, you are right. Good job Sergey. Also it's been most interesting to see how your features have matured over these four years. Please keep up the good work.
Spasibo to both Sergeys! Your Real Russia has been great for my own enlightenment and for seeing some of what I've been hearing all about. My wife's from Moscow, I'm Cdn and we live in Canada for now, so these RR episodes have been very educational for me. I also hope that vids like this help some of my fellow westerners see the commonalities as opposed to differences, and to break down some of their ingrained stereotypes created from watching Red Dawn too many times as a child...LOL
Your who show has made me so happy! In like 24 hours, I watched a bunch, I learned so much. To me it looks like a dream come true and it is! Russia is so amazing and to see it through your eyes. We are truly blessed!
I just wanted to thank you, as you are the parent of a disabled child, for seeing this video for what it is worth. So many people have given Sergey a hard time for his wording, not even recognizing that he has a heart of gold. I am embarrassed by some of our fellow westerners who arrogantly, beat him over the head with OUR political correctness, when it is obviously a matter of translation. Thank you.
Sergey and Sergey, you are good and kind men. The world is a better place by having you both in it! You continue to inspire us, teach us, and make us better. You know Bev and I love both of you guys. Our best wishes for the new year!
Fantastic Sergey and Serge! It was awesome y'all went to the center so Sergie could be Father Frost! The kids looked like they had a wonderful time! Such lovely and beautiful children at the center! Please tell Nataly that she looked very lovely in her Christmas costume for the matinee! Thanks for sharing your moment as Father Frost!
As a Santa of long standing, I must commend you on your portrayal of Father Winter. All it takes to play the part well is a kind heart and a love of children. You obviously have both.
Sergey Baklykov and Sergey Pichugin, you both seem like very good people, and I really appreciate your video BLOG with it's wonderful look into life in Russia. I believe you two have very kind hearts, and your volunteering for this last minute stand-in performance of Fr. Frost for these children absolutely proves your kindness. These children are beautiful, and very much God's blessed children, and see that you have made a real difference in their day, Some day I hope to see Russia for myself!
Thank you. I enjoyed this very much. Also, thank you to the lady who showed us her apartment a few videos back and who also asked you to participate in this celebration. She seems to be such a nice lady.
The center is doing an amazing job!. Not only was it obvious they bring out so much talent from the students but also so socially and emotionally capable. I could see they had a great deal of confidence and not upset when you left which would be pretty upsetting normally. Not much difference from your daughters school. Which also was excellent in education and socialization.
It reminded me of an Ingmar Bergman film, lol. But seriously, this was one of the sweetest and most kind things I've seen anyone do in a long time. I'm sure the people around you are very happy and honored to call you their friend as I am very happy and honored to be able to watch your videos.
Thank you Sergei & Sergei, for your wonderful videos. I have, since a child, always wondered what regular life is like, where you all live. It surprises me that, for the most part, life there, is much like it is here, in the US. At least the places that I have lived in. I know one thing that you are doing, above all else, is demystifying the places and the people in the former USSR. For that alone, I applaud you! I hope you keep on making these kinds of vids for all of us. Again Thanks!
This is very touching and makes me feel warm inside for all the joy you gave to these special children. They are just handicapped, but they are special. It is still Jan. 7th in parts of Russia and I wish everyone a happy Christmas. I hope you have a wonderful New Year. Hugs, Vicki. :)
Yes, I read the title and I though he was insulting someone... But the video was really nice, I'm glad to see there is people who cares about other, even it they have some kind of disability
Sergey, I am happy to send all my best regards to you!! And the thing I just want to say and it's the most important one after watching your vid is: I am really proud of you, PROUD of being your compatriot!! That's what Russians are! Let's never lose this feeling))) Thanks to Sergey Pichugin as well. You do the greatest job! ))) I miss you, Ufa!
I just have to say, that you guys are awesome. Not only is your show really entertaining and informative, but you guys are decent human beings as well. Much love and respect from Canada!
Thank you so much for not being one of those people giving Sergey a hard time for his words, and recognizing the true intent of the video. I too, have handicapped people who are close to me. I find it embarrassing when people get out of control with this political correctness. These things should be taken in context. And what Sergey did shows that he has a heart of gold. I wish your family the best of luck, and I hope you have a great new year.
I have enjoyed many of your videos and this one easily is my favorite. Here, you also show your kind and generous heart by performing for these children who have so little. Please continue your work and I wish you great success and happiness.
Congratulations to you both, guys! Great heart, great attitude, much respect for you! In Brasil we have centers like this. We call it APAE (an acronym to 'special kid's fathers and friends association').
You guys did a wonderful thing, Sergey. Do not worry about the complaints about your words. Some people think that their "superior" ways apply to the whole world. The word you used IS medically correct, an is not offensive. Some people have confused minds. Your intention was good. Merry Christmas!
Wonderful video guys, bless you for doing this for these kids and saving their Christmas party at the last moment, I don't know many people that would do the same thing when it boils down to it, You definitely have your heart in the right place. Thumbs up and may good things come your way!
