I bought an AT&T CL2940 9 years ago and it was a good set. I decided to replace it recently with another CL2940. It came today and it looks the same as the old EXCEPT the old CID button now says CALL LOG and despite the claim in the instructions that it has Caller I.D. the Caller I.D. feature does not work. It worked fine on my old model CL2940.
I actually really like the audio quality of the goes pro. I’m kind of curious how it would sound with fans though, the handy cam was actually really good with the wind noise.
I do have to say, the StopAmateur did pick up all the audio far better. I don't think zooming is necessary for phone videos, so you should consider keep using it. It probably shows the model number on screen so people calling into the AT&T coldline for support can easily identify it when asked, instead of requiring further instructions of how to locate it on the bottom. Great speakerphone!
The only thing I didn't like was not being able to show the informations tag clearly. I suppose a picture could easily be taken and overlaid to that portion of the video. I think the camera is supposed to have some digitan zoom capabilities, while that of course is nowhere near as good as optican, it may serve the purpose well enough. I need to learn how to use the camera better. That's a possibility, but if they're calling from that phone, then the number is gone from the screen. Agreed, I was very surprised. This speakerphone would be good even for something with an AC adapter feeding it.
Great video of the checkout of the AT&T CL2940 Corded Telephone with the Speakerphone the Jordan! Obviously, those Duraleak/Leakacell batteries need to the go because they will the leak which will cause a leakfest freakshow if not the removed in time.
