Today was a really tough day of 14.8 that included a 2,500’ climb up Killington Peak and the ski resort on the top. The 0.2 blue blaze from the Cooper Lodge Shelter to Killington Peak was nearly vertical and an incredibly tough climb, but the view at the top was worth it.

I have snowboarded at Killington many times but have never been up there in summer. You had a truly beautiful view day. Glad you made it safely.

Great video. Less than 500 miles!! That's great, I'm proud of you both! Those views were definitely worth it for us anyway. I watch a lot of thru hikers and don't remember ever seeing that pile of rocks. Thanks for showing! I loved seeing the heart one.

Congrats on making 1700, I rode those Killington gondolas back in the early 1980s skiing there for a week. For you two, the glory of the White Mountains are coming soon. IRL, you are probably close to climbing Mount Lafayette, one that I've watched a few videos of recently. Praying for safety, strength and great views - Psalm 121 should be appropriate for your adventures in New England
