There are many automatic transmissions available in India. In this video i have explained about the pros and cons of various automatic transmissions and also given a final verdict for which system to buy
Super Bro. Explanation n differentiation was very clear. Keep going. Just subscribed Ur Channel after seeing dis Video n dis is first video tat I am seeing in Ur Channel.
Deivame pakka video deivamey, ive driven many big and small cars but i've never been able to explain the layman difference between these systems. Thanks a million for this bro!!
Very useful video and your ability to explain in a layman's language is appreciable. I think AMT is for middle class, CVT is for upper middle class and DCT is for others. Ha. ha. ha.
Good work. I would like to quote some concept on DCT transmission. DCT doesn't have two gearbox it's single gear box only with one input shaft gear train (Annular shaft so theoritically 2 shaft where IP gear of 1357 in 1 shaft, IP gears of 246R in other shaft) and two output shafts gear train. One OP shaft with 1&5,2&4 OP gear set & other OP shaft with 6&R,7&3 OP gear set. Ex. When vehicle running in 3rd gear OP gear of 2&4 is already in engaged position so when predefined RPM rise happens OP gear mesh with vehicle differential immediately so eliminates gear shift lag and thus improve performance and fuel economy
Great video clip. Very useful information. Keep going. We need more about CVT. Specially the drawbacks. My Hyundai Accent 2017 1.4L CVT gives transmission problems.
Our road and traffic definitely needs automatic transmission. We do have beliefs that mileage is less, but not more than 3-4 km. I owns baleno CVT, price difference between manual is 1.3 lacs. If you driving in city traffic regularly, highly recommended to go with automatic. All the best. Safe drive. Follow rules. Be patient and allow others car if they are reversing or turn. Trust me, u will be calm and relax if u drive only in automatic...

Great explanation bro. Bro I own a Baleno CVT.. It's the best. Common man ithu best enna nammaluku performance thevai Illa. Ease of drive plus mileage.
Very informative. If you would have give a wide list of cars in the market using which kind of technology they are using ? Especially the upcoming Kia, MG, etc
Manual transmission is evergreen. Will take some time to learn. But once learnt, it is so easy and engaging. DCT gives frequent transmission heating problem in city traffic. Also no way to repair. Only replacement option only.
Bro,just a information DCT doesn't have two gear box. It has two output shafts and a set of one input shaft (actually two shaft assembled in annular construction as one, two clutch for outer input shaft&inner input shaft individually). If a vehicle is being driven in a particular gear(1st output shaft power transmission) d nxt/previous gear is pre-engaged with 2nd output shaft. Based on speed up/down the NXT/Prev. gear (speed up-nxt gear, speed down-previous gear) will be activated by clutch engage. This transmission is highly complicated design but good for performance , along with turbocharged petrol engine ,it is a beast. In India it is available with hyundai venue top end .
Very good explanation. Thanks for sharing. I am a learner and am struggling to manage a small slope in plains. So pls talk more about slope drive in automatic cars.
