One of the best boss themes i have heard. It dont need to be a "im all pumped up! lets beat it!"-themed songs. This song fits the final boss so great. Since the Boss itself isnt "bad". It merely tries to protect the world as it is. This Song displays so great the struggle of our heroin within herself about to defeat it. Protecting the world or saving your sister in hope, that the world will recover and be ok again?
This song makes me cry without fail. Not just one of the best boss themes but one of the best tracks I've ever heard. The start has a sort of melancholy and despair, but as it continues there is hope; stand up and keep moving, because that's the only way forward.

+LusatR Makes me cry too. I think most people are overly afraid of showing emotion, if anything. Crying is a form of stress relief or just a response to strong emotion -positive as well as negative. Some people are more sensitive than others so may need to cry more often. Doesn't mean someone's weak or foolish that they cry; it means they're human.
The chord progression here reminds me of Christopher Tin's iconic Civilization IV theme song "Baba Yetu" :') Lovely tune. Atelier Ayesha's filled to the brim with bangers

@@evarchavex4800 Oh don't get me wrong, all 3 songs are absolutely amazing. First playthrough I listen to all the original boss themes, then switch it up with songs I think fit after.
The game was kinda average but this song... It's definitely one of the best boss themes ever. The music overall fit the theme of the game much better than most games do.
Keithgriff isn't as nice as he appears. He's an extremist who has actually injured people in terrorist attacks. That said you can't really feel bad for the boss because unlike it's counterpart, Odelia (the protector of Knowledge), Yggdrasil had become obsessed with it's task to "preserve humanity" and thus began to spirit away humans without discrimination and even enslave their souls as puppets for him to communicate and interact with the outside world. Plus Ayesha's region is one of the least affected regions in the world of Dusk so it makes zero sense for Yggdrasil to start his humanity preservation protocol yet. the worst affected was the "Sea of Dusk" where Lotte and Stella live, and middle of the road is the End of the World and Land of Dusk where Escha lives.
atelier games and mana khemia had some of the best music in jrpgs. shame that im not a fan of the gameplay and story (i prefer your "save the world" plot device like dragon quest and final fantasy)
The story is laid back but the core of Ayesha is still that a mysterious being kidnapped Ayesha’s sister. Though the fact she gets saved no matter what is kind of disappointing (the elder alchemist rescues her if you fail).
lol I had King of the Wolves set as my boss BGM from Atelier (Lily? Judy?) for my first playthrough, so I completely missed this song. Second playthrough, I give it a chance and it really fits!
I wasn't able to finish in the time limit I get there with 2 days left and I am unable to beat the boss after 15 tries so I left the area and it ended game
No, you fought what was essentially a combination arboreal supercomputer / long-distance teleportation coordinator / emergency medical evacuation system that had gone haywire in an alchemy-based technological singularity centuries ago and became too focused on the performance of its jobs to actually care what happened to the people it processed. I honestly thought it and the other Dusk final bosses worked really well in the context of a post-apocalyptic fantasy world. They're not villains, they're simply pieces of technology that strive to maintain their purpose even as they completely lose sight of what they're actually supposed to be doing.
