I bought a German market one of these some time back, and it's almost an entirely different setup. The games are all the arcade versions, and like in mame you have to put coins in to play (x key). There is no Sky Kid game, instead mine has 'The Tower of Druaga' - a game I've never heard of. When I bought it it cost €10 and it is decent value for money as a result of the original arcade roms.
i used to have this. i loved it and i would STILL have it even after 4 years, but i had to throw it away in febuary of 2022 because i went to take out the HDMI dongle (the thing that make the whole thing work. the HDMI literally was the console) but wshen i pulled it out, it broke and parts of it got stuck inside the hdmi port. it sucked. i dont know how much galaga i played on the thing, always taking full advantage of the rewind feature. also i now know that i didnt have the walmart version because i specificially reember that it didn't have pac mania on there
As of 1/25/19 these Atgames Blasts are $4 at my local Bed bath and beyond my location has hundreds of this Bandai Namco blast and also a good amount of the legends arcade blast!
$4? We don't even have this product or the Legends one in the U.K. and you Yanks are all screaming about how $#!t it all is. Try living in the U.K. and having an interest in retro gaming. Were on the verge of losing the idea of having stores as People under 40 seem to have taken to Amazon worse than the U.S. have. Pity we don't know each other as you could send me a bunch of those $4 Blasts and I could make money selling them. But I suspect that the shipping costs would outweigh any decent profit.
@@robertmcmillan3638 I don't think the blasts are that bad honestly certain people seem to be mad that they don't have the arcade games on them as shown on the box but rather the Nintendo NES and the Atari 2600 versions also with retail same thing is happening here in the states!
@@yoshitoshi3898 this is definitely big news maybe people can write their own programs for this once you find the way to access the rest of this blast device
If I can give an unpopular opinion here.. I have no problem with the device and I enjoy it. Pac-Mania played the same on the actual NES cart (at least mine did last time I checked) and I never knew any info about the games until I bought it and I didn’t even realize it had the arcade pictures until after. So I don’t think the product is bad but rather the bait and switch technique they used. The product is fine. The marketing is absolutely inexcusable and misleading.
What’s even more inexcusable is they deceived such as JH. Some Reviewers BNFB Blast! had sound issues. As in no audible sound. I was glad to see your Comment actually 👍🏿
Ok I might be the only one who prefers the NES version of Mappy over the original?Besides the wider screen, I just prefer the music, it's softer compared to the arcade one that I find somehow annoying, but I think nostalgia is a bit speaking here since I used to play the NES Mappy as a child in a time where arcades just weren't common anymore (I'm speaking about the really early 2010's)
See? This is why it's a lot better to buy original consoles instead of Atgames garbage! I saw back in a store a genesis flashback, but good thing I didn't buy it! I now have a real genesis model 1 I picked up at an antique store near me, and not that Atgames garbage!
The wired control pad At Games Megadrive/ Genesis machine is pretty good for the money. Don't fancy the more expensive HD model though. Too many wireless stuff going about for my liking.
I feel bad for you since you actually decided to waste $19 on a piece of crap like this...at least you've warned a lot of your viewers (like me) about it, thank you
