I think it's better to use silicone lubricant instead of grease. I know silicone lubricants are a bit inaccessible but should be better for the belts.

Thanks... I'm doing the same after washing the belt using brush then wipe belt by a cloth, then apply same Grease & my Ather become Smooth & going like Rocket 😅. But tell me one thing how long it'll last after applying grease then again we've to apply grease again??? I mean after how many Days??

ഇതൊരു തെറ്റായ രീതിയാണ്. റബ്ബർ മെറ്റൽ ഇടയിൽ ഗ്രീസിംഗ് പാടില്ല. ഗ്രിപ്പ് കുറയും മാത്രമല്ല ഗ്രീസിൽ ചെളി പെട്ടെന്ന് തങ്ങി നിൽക്കുന്നതിനാൽ ബെൽറ്റിന്റെ ലൈഫ് കുറയും. കമ്പനി അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യാൻ സാധ്യത കാണുന്നില്ല. ഞാൻ ആതർ ബുക്ക് ചെയ്തിട്ടേയുള്ളൂ. കമ്പനി അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടോ ?

do not use Greece as at belt the friction is necessary. i don't know about greece brakes the belt or not but it is not at all useful. whenever belt loosens after aging it will slip for sure

As long as it is recommended by kochi ec, I will continue. I have driven around 18k kms. No issues so far. My frnd's belt lasted till 42k kms.

Bro, check with your ather service centre. I have completed 11k kms and haven't faced a single issue with the belt other than the sound. My friend completed around 42k (25k is the recommended life ). He has now got a new belt.

Belt price is around 4000 including fitting. Primary belt won't break often. It's the secondary that breaks around 10000 km.

Some tom from Kochi told you and you believed it to be true. You should refer the GATES (belt manufacturer and supplier) tips.
