Wednesday October 4th, Thursday October 5th, Saturday October 7th & Sunday October 8th 2023:
This was easily the most exciting week I've had at the Planet's Busiest Airfield in quite some time. We'll start things off by meeting an aircraft type I've craved for over a decade - the elusive Ilyushin IL-76. Thanks to the Azerbaijani carrier Silk Way I finally get my chance. As if that wasn't enough, ATL hosted a pair of F-22 Raptors over the weekend that were performing at the Atlanta Airshow. There was no need to pay over a hundred dollars & spend hours trying to get out of the parking area at the airshow this year. I was able to enjoy my own private airshow at my beloved field. So sit back, relax & enjoy the show. It's a dandy!
