The F-22 demo at the Fort Lauderdale airshow is second to none, you sit so close to the action out on the beach, your can hear and feel those twin F119s tearing the sky apart! Such an impressive, precision demo every year I've gone 🇺🇲
I agree for the most part about the music (the engines ARE the music), but last night I watched a clip of an F-16 taking off with AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" playing, and I tell you, that made it hit that much harder! 🤙
Seeing how well it turns from the ground is one thing, but seeing it from the cockpit, with no major turbulence or buffeting, the raptor just makes it look so easy. Great job handling those Gs!
Geez no kidding man, was thinking the same thing. That thing is on rails. Almost looks like the high g turns are more intense bc they hit hard so fast.
@@jeboccuzzi10 The Autonomous Multi-Domain Adaptive Swarms-of-Swarms (AMASS) is a project from US defence research agency DARPA. The AMASS project would involve thousands of drones, on the ground, in the air and in the water, working together in a "swarm of swarms" to overwhelm enemy defences
More agility and power than the best F16 demos I've seen. Would eat a Hornet from any angle. That thing is so fast. These pilots have flown the finest fighter humans will ever fly.
I got to see you guys fly 4 days in a row. Was at lunch after blue angels practice on Friday and heard you roar right over the beach, saw the demo sat and Sunday, and watched you guys depart from the airport terminal waiting for my flight back home. You guys made the weekend aweaome
after spending 4 years as an engineer on the engine development team and another 2 on the aircraft flight dynamics and control team... was awesome to see that machine in action
As a fighter jet enthusiast, that video just changed my mind of what I thought was the limit of a jet. Nothing else on this planet that’s actually in or was in production can come close to outmaneuver the F22
You KNOW this is an American aircraft by the amount of scratches, dings, scrapes. and worn off plastic in the cockpit from all the maintenance these jets go through as they are flown an incredible amount of hours
Quite possibly one of my new favorite aviation videos. I love the way the camera stays on the horizon and the jet rotates around it. It's a great perspective!
Good to see you buzz F18 Blue Angels on the ground. F-22 cockpit vie is very unique, large canopy, unobstructed view, incredible skies and overall vibe of that flight! Surprised to see so many boats in the ocean gathered for the airshow, even big cargo ships lined up for the view :)
Absolutely stunning views, very much appreciate this. Suggestion for improvement would be to throw up a HUD/GUI for us that correlates to the aircraft's Angels/Knots with the video, this would be super fun to follow along with the actual footage. (this should be possible with postProduction + TACview 😊)
We have a couple of these f22s in Adelaide and they ran a demo and my house was in the flight path. Anyone who likes these hasn’t heard what they sound like IRL outside the cockpit. I’m convinced they are throwing out sounds that aren’t meant to be there.
There are 3 things I always loved as a kid. Fighter Jets, Super Sport Bikes and F1 Cars. None of that has changed, but as I've gotten older its the people who fly these jets and drive these cars and bikes that really make my jaw drop to the floor. The tech and mechanics of it all is inherently cool, yeah. But being able to use that tech and machinery and make it look easy under those physical demands.... at those speeds... THAT IS FUCKING BAD ASS! People are awesome.
In my opinion, the F-22 Raptor is the most impressive display of human design, engineering, and control. The pilots have my utmost respect and envy. The maintainers who work tirelessly to ensure every inch of the hydraulic, electrical, mechanical systems are in perfect order to keep this monster in the sky as well. In my first hour of flying this beautiful work of art I imagine I would never feel freer than in that moment, in my 1,000th hours I would imagine I would still never feel freer than in that moment.
The ISS would like to have a word with you sir. Jk the F22 is by far one of the most impressive feats of human design and engineering. It's my favorite aircraft.
Dammit 🥶🥶🥶😱 this outstanding 360 degrees view is just insane...we closely feel the immersion of the G force...keep up sharing with us those Amazing view 🎉
I have seen a lot of cockpit videos, but I have never seen a plane turn like this one does.... jesus. Worth every penny we spend on them... in fact, we should make some more of them and upgrade them.
It’s just a shame that this military obsession comes at the cost of not having a free National Health Service like we enjoy in the UK. Let’s also be honest, the USA would never take on Russia or China. You know their the big boys & not Iraq 😂😂😂
@@SloaneLasers if the USA are the big boys; why not go & attack Russia or China. My original post, was implying that Russia & China are not countries like Iraq. If I was Putin, I would look at sabotaging oil pipelines. After all he’s got nothing to lose. I’m not suggesting they sabotage their oil & gas reserves completely. I’m suggesting they cut off the west. Let’s be honest the USA with their gas-guzzling vehicles, isn’t self-sufficient.
@@lt795 We're not attacking Russia or China because we're not warmongers. This is all a board game, and we're capitalists... war is bad for the bottom line. Better off to keep the business deals on the table and the $$$ flowing than tipping the table over.🤣
@@lt795 And our "military obsession" keeps our allies safe. Ever hear of NATO? Everyone wants to criticize the US for the military budget and "playing world police", but as soon as there's a squabble with a neigbor for crossing the line and nudging them with their elbow, everyone says "Where's the US?! Why aren't they stepping in to help?" Just look at what happened when Trump started following through with his campaign promises to reduce our global military presence. We started pulling forces from Eroupe and everyone threw a fit. Merkel was foaming at the mouth.🤣 The fact is, our military are pretty much a security rental service for our allies, except we don't charge. On top of that, a good chunk of change is spent on foreign aide; millions of our $$$ just gift wrapped and sent around the globe. So a THANK YOU would be nice. Your very welcome. And as they say in your country, "now fuck off"🤣
I was at the Cleveland National Air Show and saw the flare drop! It was so awesome! I took a bunch of recordings and put them on my channel! F-22 is the best fighter ever built... hence why it's illegal to sell to any country!
I was lucky enough to see the show in person and it was the most impressive display of any aerial performance I've ever seen, I did not know the flares were coming and they were so cool when they did
Aside from the F-35 still the most feared aircraft in the skies. A absolute piece of art too. Really happy they finally decided to share in cockpit flight demos of these aircraft. I just wish I could have watched in person and yes, absolutely support my tax dollars building machines like these. They keep the peace and the world safe.
How do they keep the peace lol? I totally agree with everything else you said, but what peace have they kept? Do you think China is afraid of that? China isn't going to dog fight that plane. They are going to shoot 50 missiles at it and one of them will hit.
Thanks for sharing this awesome perspective! Would you be okay with me featuring a small part of this in my series Weekly Dose of Aviation? Of course you will be credited both in the video and in the description.
the F22 is better but they have different missions so it’s hard to compare the two. In a traditional dog fight (not that they do that anymore) the F22 outflies the F35.
The F-22 has two 35,000-pound thrust Pratt & Whitney F119-PW-100 engines. (The F-15's engines by comparison, produce less than 30,000 pounds of thrust.) Add in thrust vectoring and this is a beast!
Years ago, I got to see one of these up close and on the ground, prior to the completed build. Didn't know what i was looking at back then, but word eventually spread about what we were working on. Amazing levels of engineering, teamwork, aerodynamics and pure badassery! But if you think this thing is fast, and it is! RU-vid, Lockheed Martin HTV-2.
That was incredible seeing this from the cockpit! I wish Cabo had done this when he flew at the Atlantic City Air Show couple of years ago! I would have lost it! LOL Thank you for your service along with the ground crew that supports you. 🥰💯🙏 I loved watching you as you did your maneuvers. Even tho it's stressful flying that Raptor, watching it was so tranquil, that's how easy you made it look!
I remember being at this show by the pink building. It was super dope. Saturday was a beautiful day but Sunday weather was really nasty. Thank you for this great video.
