Atlanta Supercross rewind 2000. McGrath reigns as King 👑 

What a time to be a supercross fan!

- points leader coming into Atlanta, Brock Sellards.
- Previous champ Fonseca continues to ride inconsistent.
- Roncada takes his second win in a row and begins to build his championship run. At the end of the 125 East season, the standings would be :

250cc class
McGrath is King.
It’s all McGrath, the whole moto (and almost all year long.)
-coming into Atlanta with the points lead and only 1 moto loss (thanks to DV934) MC was looking to break the all time win record on a Yamaha in supercross.
- MC would go on to finish the night in 1st place and extend his SX win total to 65!
-mention of eventual 2000 125 west coast champion Shae Bentley at the start of the 250 main while David Bailey analyzes David Vuillemin and Mike Laroccos clutch lever placement.
- Jimmy button update as he is recovering from his career ending injuries
- McGrath leads the whole race and makes it 80 consecutive laps led in the 250 class.
At the end of the 250 season, McGrath would walk away with the title and a 35 point cushion over second place. The top 5 were:
