Oil filter. Should we try to put oil in the new filter prior to installing? I always do this with verticly mounted filters, but it is a pain with horizontally mounted. Best case you could hope for is 1/3 full. Maybe it doesn't matter? One other tip, make sure an oil filter gasket is not stuck to the mounting surface of the oil cooler. This can happen when a filter is put on too tight, or if the engine got hot, or if the oil filter gasket was not lubed prior to instalation. A light coat of oil on the new filter gasket should prevent that from ever happening. Thanks for all your great videos!
Bolt is stripped or rather the oil pan threads. Do you have a kit to fix that issue or a slightly oversized bolt ? I emailed you guys but never received reply.
Hey Doug I'm about to pick up a 05 lr3 se it won't go anywhere above 35 mph I assume the battery is bad or maybe it's in a safety mode due to the airbags can you please inform me what it could be ita a project I'm about to pick up thank you
