@@edde333 Wow Our Second SUPER LIKE! 💪🏻 Thanks sooo much! Just when we thought the Sandwich Couldn’t Taste any better! Nothing Tastes better than FREE! lol 😂 anyhow if you haven’t already noticed the Vacay-Family is not rich and every little bit helps! As soon as I told my dad he couldn’t believe it oh yes and Ellie smiled too! LETS GOOOOOOO
Wow memories! The first time I had a White House sub I was a young man in my 20s, and I was floored how good it was. Just for the freshness alone, it stood above any sub or hoagie I ever had before. I don't know if it's still the case, but I think they would get their rolls baked fresh from right across the street.
When my buddy goes to A.C., he brings back White House Subs, the full sized ones. I get about three meals out of one, worth every penny. Their "hot" sauce is delicious.
Thank goodness, they use whole lettuce leaves instead of it being shredded. This gives the sandwich crunch. The next day you take the part you didn’t eat out of the fridge, and it still has crunch, not a watery mess in the middle. Can’t wait till I get to Atlantic City.
Then Instead of posting here better give the Whitehouse a call because we asked and it wasn’t a problem, as far as we are concerned they shouldn’t allow certain humans in the there lol 😂
Looked like a good sub...I grew up in Wilmington just south of Philly, and that reminded me of the subs I had as a kid...As soon as you get above Marcus Hook from Delaware they start calling subs hoagies and you'll find sesame seeds on the bun and they sometimes put like mayonnaise and mustard on that thing.
Looks good, sorry I missed this place last time I was in AC. The "pop" on an Italian Sub comes from the dressing- usually oil/vinegar/oregano/pickled peppers. I like the way they fold the meat under itself into the sandwich.
I've had that White House Special many times. Best Italian Sandwich by a mile. Nothing competes. The bread is Amazing. I prefer it cold in the fridge the next day. The only other Sandwich shop that competes is the White House Sub location in Hard Rock. Great meat balls too.
I go here frequently when i visit a friend in Abseacon...... awesome food ! My mouth is to little to put around these hoagies / cheesesteaks 😂! Alot of nostalgia in there
I’m not going to lie… I read this and stopped for a second and Daydreamed of the moment we hit 1M Subscribers. It made me smile. Thanks so much for this comment. Make no mistake I am very proud of how far we have come even to this point! The Time, Effort, Dedication etc but We have just begun, lot more Fun Adventures and Crazy ideas on the horizon and We hope To take everyone along with us! LET’S GO! 💪🏻
One of my favorite stops in AC..fenomenal service, great quality..the sandwiches are huge…the Philly is a sleeper..there cold cuts are ice cold though..I mean ice cold..but an amazing place
White House Submarine Sandwich shop! Probably the best submarine sandwich in the country according to your dad. That's fabulous that you and him touring the country for the best eats! That sandwich looked so much better than SUBWAY Ilike SUBWAY but I think the old fashioned recipe and the owners values is what we should have today. The increase in price keeps that recipe in place. They're not cutting corners. It's a great place. Love the decor in blue and peach nice.
No doubt that place is an OG. Being a Philly guy we call it hoagies LOL but that is a good sammy. Can't beat it and its a must stop when in AC. So much history in that place the chains can't compete. Great video hanging with the old man. Nice work!
Def a hoagie, born and raised in Philly and spent many many days and nights in Ac and ive never in my life called it a sub or submarine. The White house does have great Hoagies. 😂😂
I live about 45 minutes from there in Cape May County. And I can say I’ve been there too many times to count. They used to have better rolls on my opinion but still great subs.
@@dalefick8405 Absolutely! I always feel very lucky… to be able to have so many great times with him I am truly blessed! Thanks so much for you view and heartfelt comment! ❤️
Great video!! The sub looked great! Glad Ellie got some too! You guys are too cute!!! I may go to Atlantic City in September after many years! I will visit Whitehouse Subs! Is it near the boardwalk?? Thanks for sharing! 💖💖💖💖
@@juliefaye47 it’s not far from the boardwalk but I think in one of the other comments one of our viewers said there is one in one of the casinos on the boardwalk too! Thanks again for watching as always
There’s also a White House sub spot in the hard rock in Atlantic City as well if ur looking for a in house location. The number of times I lost $ at the casino went up to use my points to buy a sub brought it to the room and pigged out 😅
You haven't heard it called a sub in a long time? Have you heard of Subway? Where do you think the name came from? LOL (Not that they are any good.) I live in North Jersey and up here, places put both oil and red wine vinegar on the sandwich. I didn't see any vinegar go on that sandwich. Makes a huge difference.
@@robertbooker6241 Yes it does. The name Subway Sandwiches is a play on words. I was in a Subway in CT and they looked at me funny when I ordered an Italian sub. They call them "grinders" in CT.
If you're in Atlantic City, you have to actually leave the island to get the best sandwich. You gotta either go to Vic's or Sugar Hill. Write house is over hyped
Always the same Vacay-J… I have many different aspects and interests. As much as everyone thinks I’m just a one trick pony. I have worked for myself since I was 20 and so on and so on. Plus RU-vid likes certain type of content. The Ad revenue you make is WAY MORE one type of video over another. So it was time to diversify and mind you have a great time while doing it!
They rank this place the best sub shop in New Jersey. It's really nothing but a tourist trap! Sorry but come up to north Jersey where I know places that give you double the meat for a cheaper price!
Terribly overrated. If I lived, nearby, I'd get my favorites. But not worth going as a tourist. Bunch of other tourists there and no better than your local pizza parlor. May even say go to Jersey Mikes.... Gulp.
@@LibertyOrBust the history of the place inside is worth going alone for anyone if they have never been. Lol so your comment is just funny to say the least. And if think it’s no good cool your entitled, and as you can see from the video oh my god was just packed So many tourists what a horrible experience… oh wait none of that is true lol but your right just go to the chain Jersey Mikes it’s just as good or even better…OR NOT! 🤣…
Anything goes these days i guess. People cant even figure out or even choose their gender. What a mess where we are heading. But, nice review and those subs sure look good. I stay at the Borgata so not too easy get one, I dont think they have delivery.
Disgusting grade D sandwich meat. After Tony died it all went downhill. The current owners are terrible people. Look at the sandwich makers. They all think they are mobsters.
I hate places that don’t cut the bread through. They want to fold over the meat to make it look like you’re getting more. They only put one slice layer of each meat. Jersey Mike gives you several slices of each meat, not folding over to look bigger.
@@bobbymyers9449 first part of the question I understand the R U Funny part not so much… lol best way to answer is it’s Just not something I wanted or really thought about. Maybe someday who knows what the future holds, but for now I focus on the haves not the have nots. Thanks for the view and comments.
