Way back in the 50’s when ask about the weather, my uncle would always say. “ Fair & warmer with a hell of a storm on the ocean.” I always think of him around hurricane season. 😂❤ Loved your humor Uncle Art.
You can get a cheap 100 watt glass solar panel and wire up a 12 volt DC car charger USB terminal to it and not worry about charging phones, flashlights, batteries and power bricks at your home for years as long as it`s daytime. These still supply about 8 watts even on very cloudy days and that`s plenty for a 5w light or fan and charging many devices.
@@emilymorrison9510 We got a storm last June here in Louisiana that woke me up at just before 2am with thunder. Then I turned on my pocket sized AM/FM/NOAA radio and heard, "80 mph winds...take cover...mobile homes will be destroyed." I live in a camper. Then just after 2am I heard a roar to my southeast that sounded exactly like a tornado. Two minutes later...tornado warning...and the radio is naming my area. The high winds hit 45 minutes later but not as bad as they predicted but the power was out until after midnight the next night and the drought and heat emergency lasting until October started. Plus we were hit by two hurricanes in 2020 with almost three weeks with no power, cell phone signals, home phones or local radio.
Extreme weather patterns all over the country, take heed and be wise for us in Florida this hurricane season,we won't always be missed folks...just be prepared and always stay prayerful for yourself and others
OK…Bottomline…can you tell us if we can expect more category 3, 4,or 5s in 2024 for Florida east and/or gulf coast? Yellows, red, orange, pink poked dot….🤷♂️Concerning yes…but how concerning to Florida? Give us layman something we can prepared for…🤦♂️
I understand that it's much warmer than normal but I believe since it's not uniformly warm and has cooler areas that will create some wind shear that will try to destroy anything that starts or keep it well offshore.
I live in the lower east coast & the locals that lived here their whole life says that most hurricanes 🌀 travel from Africa over here and makes landfall. Last year was dry with very little rain, this year in 2024 we had rain every week once or more since January
Yea, I was previously wondering what high heat on hurricane alley and El Niño changing to La Niña just as the ocean is the warmest could mean... Loads of hurricanes are likely coming in this season. Brace yourself.
@WeatherForce2024 perhaps my understanding of how hurricanes work are incorrect. I was taught they like warmer icean temperatures, and thus, i figured this would provide a new track for them.I've come here to watch the video, and listen to your opinions. But if my knowledge is incorrect. What a great opportunity for me to learn, and gather the proper information. Please, educate me
I like this video when are making your next video and can we do a Collab and I’m your biggest fan and supporter. I’ve watched all your videos and I think that we should talk about the hurricane season and make videos together and talk about the hurricane season and future stuff.
The fact that the Northwestern Pacific is losing it's activity while the Atlantic is hyping in activity is just shocking and I also feel very disappointed for the Northwestern Pacific😅
Yes, as of recently. The only year that didn't produce a major hurricane since 2010 was 2013. I know it doesn't feel like its active because not some of major hurricanes don't make landfall but it happens a lot!
Built a house in Cape Coral 1979 - Never got hit hard (tree damage - Yes), never structural all these years, even last year with Ian. Sold the property last November not because of the fear of the weather, in a Tropical Climate _ Expect that. However the drop in property prices, the cost of or the cancellation of Insurance, rising Taxes, some of the New Folks Moving Here, Etc . . . . Paradise Lost.
Wow! I live 18 miles (as the bird flies) from the Gulf of Mexico in the panhandle of Florida - I guess I'll have to take the flag down from the flagpole several times this hurricane season...! Now, that I've have seen this video - I may have to replace the flagpole...! 😢 😭 😿 😢
I know you can’t predict this, but do you think Florida will get hit by any tropical disturbance in May? Or even at all? I’m flying down in mid May for vacation
@@AnnaS.Cross.Stitch Didn't you guys get hit a week ago? I am watching Florida, I live in Oklahoma my in laws are going to vacation in Florida tomorrow watching the weather.
I watched some hypothetical 2024 hurricane season videos and they do not look good, some getting to V storm 'Valerie' and some getting to the I storm in the Alternative list
2017 with Hurricane Harvey here in Corpus Christi-Rockport and elsewhere ( Houston) was NOT FUN. Please go somewhere else. We don’t need that much excitement.
short answer: maybe, but probably not. its a el nino this year so the atlantic won't see as much activity. the pacific might be hyperactive though, but I'll need to check the long term models and nhs forecasts
El nino but they are predicting an La nina summer basically El nino is giving hurricane season a push start for the season because by the beginning of the hurricane season, La nina will be in effect again.
There was tons in the ocean. We got super lucky. Did you not see the 870mb hurricanes? We got so lucky last year. It was a wake up call to this year's.
I live 85 miles from myrtle beach. I live on the east coast. The beaches were closed down half the summer from rip currents from those hurricane 500 miles away even. My yard is sand even. I live in the Sandhills even.
Just because the Oceans are Warmer than expected... Doesn't mean a Major Blow out Hurricane season.... They could Start up in October, November and December... There's still dust out there and it's known to weekend Hurricane's
We stopped acid rain in the Atlantic buy switching to cleaner ship fuel. This had kept ocean temps about 10 degrees cooler (the salfaric clouds reflected sunlight back to space) but we didn't notice the effect until it stopped. Cleaner air but global warming did it's thing.
This Is Going to be an american nightmare to lose trillions of buildings in texas, louisiana, mississippi, alabama, georiga, and florida. I PRAY TO GOD FOR THIS. STOP THIS UTTER MADNESS RIGHT NOW.
“Last year we saved over, potentially, a million people’s lives…” when you said this, all your credibility went down the drain. In fact’ the 1780 Atlantic hurricane season is the deadliest on record and it killed over 28,000 deaths. Please chill down, it is bad enough what is predicted to be adding fuel to the fire.
@@MXWeather1 well... Watching the weather predictions before winter they had it extremely wrong for my area. Calling for major snowstorms and all we got all winter was a few flakes. I do snow removal and we made sure our equipment was in good shape. never had to use it once.
OK…Bottomline…can you tell us if we can expect more category 3, 4,or 5s in 2024 for Florida east and/or gulf coast? Yellows, red, orange, pink poked dot….🤷♂️Concerning yes…but how concerning to Florida? Give us layman something we can prepared for…🤦♂️
right now let's track a storm first then I'll tell you, but based on climate models there is cernatliy a higher chance that LA get's a least 1 or 2 landfills this season.
