I backed myself to be able to kill that Hawke and at the very least tank the fire and keep my Bismarck alive so at least he can survive and secure the win. The biggest misplay I made was before the game even started, the being my choice to use properly meticulous over master mechanic. An extra couple of heals would have saved me here. Should be some interesting discussions in the comments
Wouldn't overthink it too much. The only "misplay" you really made was trusting a teammate to do the right thing for the remaining 15 seconds of the match. As a good player, it's easy to get lulled into the false sense of security that just because you know what the right play is, you assume everyone else knows what to do too. Sadly, the donkey in the Bismarck did not. You played it correctly. Had to push towards the Hawke to escape the DD push, all your teammate had to do was match your actions until the match ended. You got RNG fisted with the 4 fires also.
Man I love matches that end like that . Gives me the strength to chuck my controller across the room. Also what do y'all think the new campaign ship will be
I think the Bismarck just tried to sail away immediately to secure the win. I got surprised how he got sent to oblivion there lol. That Hawke was cracked, 6 fires in a row and then a 20k salvo
At 18km or more you can citadel it consistently with Riga. I got a citadel every salvoe for 5 salvoes. The turtleback works against you at that range and makes it easier to pen, most battleships would shatter Riga at that range.
@@Icylist ive hit cits on almost every german bb from 16 km or longer and thats due to plunging fire so yes. For turtleback armor to work as intended it has to be up close.
That was a good game, shame the Bismarck was a potato. But you shouldn't have turned toward the island at 13:00; you should have started turning your guns to the starboard side and sailed strait down the 4/5 line as to not sail parallel to the kiting ship. If the Hawke wanted to get all guns on he would have needed to show more broadside and would have given you a better chance to cit him. (My Opinion)
I think you were unlucky to not kill the Hawke. Doubly unlucky that he got six fires in a row. Triply unlucky that the Bismarck turned out just at the wrong time.
Got Atlantico from a Santa crate. Of course Iwill buy the ship again because of that captain. ;-) Its not even a premium commander. WG should have added him to the regular commanders crate in rotation.@@RedHexGaming
WG nerfed atlantico on mobile but you can take commander skills and stuff to make the nerfs irrelevant. Still powerful just not as powerful as it once was. As a dd main I hate this thing.
