They should implement a system to purchase this bundle possibly at a pro-rated price in light of the fact we already spent money into acquiring this ship already. Or maybe if you already have the ship you can purchase an account unlock token for that ship. Or make up whatever version of this you want. Would certainly like to see a change here with this also! 😁
@@Stu1701 I was an idiot. I gambled a bunch on infinity boxes for the Deimos pilot and then wondered if I could luck into the J with promos. Could’ve had them all with Mudds and finishing the current event. My wife would kill me. I just started STO recently and have a bunch of ships now, but struggling to get decent dps in elite content.
23rd Best and main reason to buy - 3 piece 50% reduction is nice but typically best combo DPRM + PDBW combo I would personally throw in DPE as has EPG+CRTL buff as very few double up both. Also each ship has a different Trait as well as console the atlas trait if a tank, the D9 on Electrical build or warbird as shield tanking. 26th issue is that the Console and Pets are ship type locked and trait is tank/support focused with lockout not as much benefit as account wide unlock - might even consider and go T6 coupons for a couple ships from 14th or just treat as admiralty cards or bridge unlocks if have unique ones. May be viable as a hybrid wep/pet build/tank. If the ship were a little smaller might be more viable with map sizes but large size does appeal to some. This is the same ship essentially with 3 skins. 32nd/Merian - The console is the main draw buffing radiation damage passive combine with genesis seed or Tholian warp core crystals or Soliton wave Ex wep, you could combine the clicky with the radiation one from the 14th to possibly negate the negative side effects of the Console - Universal - Fractal Integrity Bleed hmm?. The Trait is interesting but downside is in the past it was stack up to 5 times in 15 seconds rather than to keep refreshing stacks. If it behaved traditionally would be meta otherwise nice to have but not a must. Its all about the console mainly. It is disappointing how much ships get ignored or given a fraction of the time when people aren't interested when meant to cover all in vids. Just because something does not hit top DPS (usually supported runs) doesn't mean its not viable or add value to the community.
This would be a great time to revisit the Universe/Durgath/Valkis Temporal Heavy Dreadnoughts for both STO and some build videos. For STO, I'd love to see: 1) A new Temporal Heavy Dreadnought warp drive that is even better than the MW Cyclical Quantum Warp Drive. Why? On the website they say that by the 26th century we can travel between galaxies easily and that these ship serve as mobile space stations. 2) More Tac seating and less Engineering! For an energy build, the Tac/Command seat can't really do Command or else I loose out one of the precious 5 tac slots, and most importantly, the Lt. Cmdr FAWIII. That's all. Other than that, these ships are fantastic.
I'm definitely going to do a build video for one of them (probably the Valkis, because it's my favorite). Just gotta figure out the a theme/gimmick for it. And yeah, I've said before that it would be cool to see more Heavy Dreadnoughts like this. Something with better seating and a 5/3 layout. But I can see why they'd want to keep this classification to just these ships, so I think the best odds of getting another would be a Legendary Universe class.
@@Stu1701 Awesome!!! I am very much looking forward to seeing what you have got for your Valkis! I only have the Valkis right now from that set from a yearly event token (chose the Valkis on a Rom just bc there are not that many good Rom ships, and of the 3, the Valkis just got the Drone ships before I chose it in the promo pack, and drones are excellent). I'm running RS3, EPtW3, FAW3, APBeta1, TS1, KLW1, and TT1 with A2B1 (because I can't afford the good doffs and Tech's are free from the Neb). I don't mind the 4/4 on MW ships like the Lex (currently using the Lex on almost all my chars) because for those I use 3 Omnis on the back with a turret, and DBBs and 1 Torp up front. The turret and the torp give me assurance that MAS3 is working well. On a temporal ship, 5/3 would be so much more useful. A turret on the back would be useless on a non-MW, so if I keep with energy the only thing I can imagine is a broadside build, which I am not used to doing since I use the Disco DBB/Torp/Lorca on all my chars. Your Broadside Lexington video I think I am going to try to use for getting a Broadside build set up on it. Broadside just looks so much tho after seeing a Valkis fire DBBs - it looks soooo good lol. I've always wanted a Kurath because I like the way they look. But I've already got the DPRM on my main. And I'm at the point now where I only play my main and use my alts for the winter, summer, and dilithium events.
Oh man, is this the bundle for me. I got a lot of characters and no way could I ever afford 1 bil EC on each char for the Atlas' DPRM, so an account unlock DPRM is AMAZING. Then to top that off, the Temporal Heavy Dreadnoughts are the most beautiful ships in the game IMHO, so I am definitely getting this bundle. That said... the Temporal Heavy Dreadnoughts have some issues. A ship designed for traveling between galaxies (see ship description) should have a warp drive to rival the MW ships... but my 2409 Lexington can outtrun them. Then, MAS and NSB are amazing on my Lex and RS just isn't as good for energy builds. However, 8 weapons and 2 hanger bays is nothing to sneeze at. This is the best Mudd's bundle IMO, but it's going to be a hard transition from all my Lex's to the Temporal Heavy Dreadnoughts. Then... there is the future of the game and I feel weird spending money on it at this stage of the game, which is why Cryptic is offering such an amazing bundle.

No Lie, I was actually driving home from work the other day thinking out of nowhere about how the Merian is a cool looking ship I wouldn't mind having. So... MERIAN CLASS! MERIAN CLASS! MERIAN CLASS!
It'll be interesting to finally get my hands on the 23rd Century Dreadnoughts - and all of them, rather than just having to pick one. I've been eyeing the Merian for my 32nd Century themed Space Barbie, and I'd rather have it as an account unlock than use a precious Infinity Prize Pack or Event Campaign Reward on it. Whilst the Valkis does sound interesting, I'm just not keen enough on the 26th century stuff, so I'll probably get the 23rd century ships and the Merian along with a set of keys - I'm in dire need of more Infinity Weapon packs. (I do wish they'd put the Infinity Weapon packs in the Dil store instead of just having the occasional event of Vanity Shields. It'd probably be a better Dilithium-Sink, since people will generally need at least a few weapon packs per Build, but I digress).
Couldn't the science ship's stuff be really good on the Princeton or am I missing something about how things combine. I never feel like I fully understand in this game.
The Princeton's console overrides radiation immunities, and its radiation damage scales with your hull, not radiation buffs or other exotic damage buffs. So, no, not really. They would mix reasonably well with the console and trait from the Hysperian Battlecruiser though.
I thought of the same thing one overwrites immunities and the over makes you immune it wouldn't surprise me if these clashes but since the one from the Princeton is the newer of the 2 it would supersede, have you tested this personally? as most people skipped the Princeton and Merian when they released or just theory@@Stu1701
Oddly enough, I don't need the DPRM, hate the J and the Meriam out of sheer ugly factor but I may get this anyway. The Non Fed ships look GLORIOUS and its not like they make many KDF or Rom ships these days.....they may get me on this one. I don't want them to because I dont need them but.....GLORIOUS.
I am excited to see bundles available to account unlock ships and items, however, . . I do not like the prices attached to them and do not purchase most of them for this reason, especially without more playable content releases as well. Coming from a player who has spent a lot of money in the game acquiring many meta ships, traits, consoles, and many various ships, here are my main 3 things which need to happen 1. They need Account unlock token for those of us who have purchased these ships already or a way to do so (this bundle isn’t it) 2. Bundles can have value for players who do not yet own these ships account unlock, still way to expensive in my opinion. Break them apart like the anniversary bundles are, they’ll get more sales that way. 3. Make more content to play in WHILE releasing this stuff which will create a buzz with excitement to use all these new ships and items in.
In regards point 2, they are priced compared to unlocking the in lockboxes. Actually a bargain if you buy on sale and works be using on few characters.

The value for all items included are being sold cheaper then if you purchased them individually or Lock Box method, I fully agree! This part I am really happy about! The rub for me is how they force you to purchase 3 items when you may want or need only 1 or 2 choices. Sometimes to your point also is just 2 choices still hold that value and you’re still getting a discount for them, I’m with you! Example. I purchased the Legendary Battle Cruiser Bundle (Inquiry bundle) myself even after I paid into the 1st Lock Box Inquiry already. When Spencer breaks down the value of how much individual Ships and items were vs paying for each ship individually, it is a great value! Its just hard to let go of $150 in one shot for a Mudds bundle multiple times a year, that’s all 😁
For the Mega bundle, yeah. it's only a 3 choice bundle, so it should probably be 50K, but maybe since two of those choices that contain three ships they upped it to 60K like the four ship bundles. This is the first bundle to have two choices in it that unlock three different ships. Doesn't change the price of the 3 Choice pack, though. They're always 29,500 Zen (not counting sales).
Question: once I've unlocked the cross faction ability can I delete the character the did it or does it have to stay? (I've got all my captains at 65 and want to clear out space.)
Is there a website that can help optimize my loadouts? I remember there was one, but not sure as it has been years since I used it. If there was one that could see what equipment and characters I have would be excellent.
Just trying to warn people. I used Epic to get Zen put on my acount it linked me to a new account not my acount and put all the Zen on it. Epic Coustomer Service will do nothing about this and tells me that it is on an acccount their loader so they completed the service and will refund nothing and have no control to transfer it to the right account. Honestly after this I dont think I want anything to do with Epic or Cryptic, I sent in a ticket from both account but that is being sent to Ark not cryptic
My only problem with this bundle is the same as I have with the 14th anniversary bundle... I'm in the middle of moving godsdammit. I really wish I could justify these, but they'll have to go on my 'maybe later' list.

but its the fact that the commander engineering seat doesn't have a spec seat. thats why its engineering heavy. the high level engineering abilities have very little to offer.

The Merian aint no dreadnought... those crazy idiots at Cryptic & their nonsence nomenclature. Sinc I care little for account-wide unlock I think ile stick with the event campaign reward to get the Atlas & the NX refit for the 2-piece.
