Yes, it works as expected, but it is quite expensive for what you get. Hopefully a budget option hits the market, otherwise it has to be relegated to special shoots. Fog machines are quite cheap if you look around. Many non-photogrpahers buy them thinking they will actually use them, and then don't and let them go for next to nothing.

I've used it in a high school gymnasium with basketball players. Has a nice effect. Definitely need to capture the image immediately after spraying for full effect.

I use it all the time! It is expensive for what it is and doesn’t last very long but it does it’s job.

I did set off smoke alarms in a new high school because they had infrared smoke detectors. The second it came out of the can the alarms went off. I was very popular there that day 🤦🏻‍♂️

The "authentic" formula is pretty hard to get in countries Atmosphere Aerosol doesn't officially sell to and all of the bootleg ones I've ever found were pretty bad If you can get your hands on these, you need to stockpile boxes of this stuff, it's incredible

I've used it indoors with a model in a claw foot tub. It created the look of a hot bath.

Have a question,your video looks crispy what’s ur best exports settings for RU-vid? Do you use Final Cut or premier?

Thanks, man! I use final cut pro for editing. I record in 4k but export the video as 1920x1080p. Maybe that helps with the crisp look. Lighting might also be helpful for that look. I'm using a Sigma 16 f/1.4 to record on my Sony A7C.

You should get the smoke genie kit in and review it for your work. Looks sick, so many cool things you can do with it, perfect for creating atmosphere on the go

@@fjhphoto ye it's a few hundred bucks but the uses etc and the content for the channel would add alot I think. Do a few childrens magic themed shoots and it will pay for itself lol

I feel like fog machines or smoke bombs(if outdoors) are a better option

I agree to an extent. The smoke bombs can get messy and also hot which is something to consider. Never liked fog machines though. Maybe I just used a too cheap one.
