Watched it with a little hesitation as I feared the solution would involve Rob Chapman and a baseball bat. Glad you were able to get your money back... as for your time and tranquility...
Crazy. I never understand it when a company treats their customers this way. I had a situation recently with a product I bought from a small-ish company like these guys. Thankfully their customer service was the exact opposite of what you encountered...they took amazing care of me, replaced my faulty device free of charge, and in the process made a long-term customer of me. A little love goes a long way. Glad you got this resolved, man.
I commented in your other video, too. I have used Atomic in the past, and still own a Firebox; not anymore. I won't use their products, recommend them to anyone, and will never do business with them. Atomic amps' customer "service" doesn't exist. They simply don't reply or care about their customers. At all. They won't even prove us wrong, because they do not care. I regret sending them any money. I'll recover, but these....fraudsters.... deserve to be held accountable.
Every comment just confirms that I did the right thing in making this video. Proving there are way more people out there who’ve had similar experiences.
I've used Atomic CLR powered cab with Axe Fx 2 for years and its still the best by far. To bad some customers had problems, wonder what percentage of folks had issues.
I was about to buy a piece of software from Atomic Amps called "Tonocracy" but after hearing your story and then further that Rob Chapman is involved I am thinking that perhaps I should not pursue that option. One reviewer said there are assurances that there would be more amps and cabs made available after purchases but I have problems believing that Rob Chapman/Atomic amps will deliver. Thankyou for posting.
@@dvaoa2910 and it's insanely good. Once they slap it in a floorboard, I'm dumping my Neural DSP as long as Tonocracy's physical unit doesn't cost $1500 or more. They could box it after engineering and build for
Interesting that Rob Chapman of Chapman Guitars has just announced a very strong connection with Atommic. He also declared that Andertons Music stock there range of amps which Is not a great stort when you link this video.. Sorry to hear about your crappy experience.
I’ve noticed that’s been a common theme for my limited exposure to Atomic - try to justify credibility through endorsements but unable to function as a company. I’d prefer to have better customer service to match their killer gear than star lit endorsements and affiliations.
I bought an Atomic CLR FRFR wedge speaker for like 1200 bucks and less than two months ago and then they dropped the price to 900 !!! I just feel cheated that within two months of a new version release of an expensive speaker like this they drop the price 25% !! Of course I wrote to them saying this seems rather weird and requested them to consider my request for at least 12.5% discount refund. No replies yet !!!
Hi Sanjay, Thanks for writing in. Unfortunately, we don't refund customers the difference between the sale price and the price that was paid month before. Best, Tom King (Atomic Amplifiers)
Rob Chapman just got involved. He’s been praising neural dsp quad cortex recently though. Wonder why they won’t get involved with him ? And why rabea broke ties with Chapman. neural associate with him but not Rob. Could it be his shady character ?
