@@igorortega6494 that's actually a very good tip for pretty much anything you learn (and it really works)! I only play WT 3 or 4 months straight usually then i take another few months brake then get back in. I would go insane otherwise
@OddBawz I can confirm the Atomic Tank is now a display item in front of the 1st Armoured Regiment in Darwin, Australia. You cannot get on to see it without being escorted. Not only did it get blown up with an atomic blast, when it was in Vietnam it was hit by an RPG. It continued in service until the Centurion was replaced by the Leopard. The name of the tank was "Sweet Fanny"
"I had audio issues but i sat down with a replay file for (i assume long time) cutting it so you guys can have an enjoyable video to watch and not some copyright free ukulele in the background" we dont deserve you Odd...we simply don't
don't forget in our infinite wisdom we added chicken wire to the roof to stop enemies from climbing up and stuff. it's the epitome of Australian ingenuity
Nice reference to the Aussie Cent that got nuked by the English. Just outside Woomera in South Aust. It served in Vietnam later, and is still on display outside a military base. Interesting story on how they got the tank there, and how they stuck the crew back in just days after it got nuked so they could drive it back, a few RU-vid vids about it, well worth a search
It is a gate guard outside Robertson Barracks in Darwin. I'll go and check it out next time I'm in Darwin. It has kept some of the radiation as I have read that many of the crews that served in that tank have died from cancer. It is still not classed as a hot zone.
@@iffracem now I need to find out. The last I heard it was the gate guard. It probably got burried somewhere due to Workplace Health and Safety concerns for the public.
Centurion Mk 5/1 at 7.3 is literally best tank if you know how to play it. It is BP Premium though. But man, 390mm pen APDS, stab, lots of machineguns, almost 150 frontal hull and same turret. Its mobile enough and reload is 6.6 seconds. This one is a beast at 7.3
When I saw this tank was added, my very first thought was about Inside the Chieftain’s Hatch. His centurion video is this exact tank, in fact I bet gaijin modeled this tank after that specific centurion in Nick’s video
Little bit wrong I think in the modeling of the 50 cal coax. Maybe they had a 50 cal coax as well, but I seem to remember a veteran telling me the aussie ones had a Polsen? 50 cal or something. It was basically a monster snipers rifle. It fired a single tracer round and was exactly the same flight charactaristics as the main gun. You sighted your target, rough adjusted, fired a .50 round, adjusted if it missed. Once it was on target, 100% the main gun round would go there. Deadly accurate and almost undetectable. Basically lazer scope before lazer scopes...
Day 33: Forget the italian 8.0 lineup, do the 3.3 one instead! The P40, M42, both M43s (one goes boom and one goes boing) and whichever plane you prefer. So glad for the uploads, thank you so much Odd! I hope you have a great day.
It'd be more entertaining if I shot all of his missiles out of the sky while repairing. I'm not being super meta min max Andy. Just trying to do some cool stuff! :)
Well done BawZ! You know what, the video actually sound, and felt, like the commentary was live, good job! To me that sounds a wee difficult to pull off lol
nice vid .. and as an ozzie hard to pass up this one. kudos for the production odd.. know only too well how much time it costs (been doing this since the days of video 8 cassettes- aka labour of love)
I might be strange but I quite like Alaska, has a good mix of Long range shooty (which generally suits my play-style/I enjoy more.) and close range town brawling. for those who like that.
speaking of spots you would never check or never knew existed, recently my squad and I were on Caparthians single cap in the centre of the map and we were killed by a chieftain from a spot we have never seen someone sit, like we are pretty good at recognising positions from kill cam but we couldnt figure this one out, turns out he was sitting on top of the hill in F1. I havent been up there myself but my squadmate says its really good and you can see a lot of A and B from there + no one ever checks up there.
They reduced the price of the nuke to 2500sp's. I wonder how many people will get them now?. I notice a lot of teamkilling their own teams nuke bombers lately. I would lose it if my teammate killed me while I had a nuke
I started playing WT a considerable while before the Alaska Town map was introduced, I play at least one battle a day and yet, it was in watching this video that I noticed for the very first time that the Alaska map has phone booths in the town! While it would undoubtedly run into legal trouble to have Superman fly out of a phone booth, an easter egg they might be able to get away with is,.....have Underdog appear when a phone booth takes a shell hit,...you know, because the phone booth in the title sequence of his cartoon show would explode when he changed from Shoeshine Boy into Underdog. 🙂
Well this thing looks like it may even be worth it, unlike the joke T-10A of last Season pass. Unfortunately for Gaijin, I don't pour GE into the game anymore so I won't be getting it.
Hello oddbawz, I watch alot of warthunder vids and its yours that I like the best, dare I say, better than phly, keep up the great content, you make me laugh so much during these crappy times,🤣and is it just me but I can't hear enemy tanks since the new upgrade,so confusing.
Sods law, you think you got it and you have not, but I would wait a month just for 1 video from you don't belittle your self your already great you can only be great.
