Here at NAB 2022, the buzzword of the show seems to be Cloud. Everything is connected to the cloud, everything is available anywhere, all the time. Atomos does not make an exception to this rule with the launch of its all-new products Atomos CONNECT and Shogun CONNECT 7.

How do you make something that can live upload to the cloud but can't transmit video locally?

EXACTLY! SOME even call WiFi monitoring not a professional feature to justify their ineptitude or greed, yet, companies manufacture HDMI/SDI transmitters/receivers to add that professional and very useful feature to cameras that don't have it included. Cheap a$$ go pros and cheaper cameras they make have that feature build in.

SAVE TO THE CLOUD??? *"WHY PEOPLE SAVE/USE CLOUD???* DO YOU KNOW YOU CAN SAVE TIME AND MONEY ON SUBSCRIPTIONS TO USE CLOUD... AND YOU NEED A LOT OF DATA TO UPLOAD AND COPY/USE EVERYTIME YOU NEED IT... INSTEAD... JUST TO HAVE A 5-10GB PORTABLE MEMORY.

I watched the video I still don't fully understand what it does. Can I monitor the output of several Ninjas equipped with this module on, say, a Laptop via Wifi (maybe w a router) or even the Cast?

Nice upgrade but what is happening with the Shogun 7, has it been left to die. How does the Shogun connect and the Shogun 7 compare?

Hi, not sure if you will see this. This is hoping you will, If I purchase the Atomos connect for the Ninja V + do I still need the SDI sync module? I am thinking not but need clarification.

Thanks for this video! Atomos connect has such a heavy delay, watch on hands moves at 4:55. It's a pity no one has yet been able to beat the Teradek, which is too expensive.
