@ATOMOS do you have any update on this ZATO recording + streaming issue?

I agree, but if you think about it. Those of us that paid for PRO RES RAW and or H265 (me on multiple ninja V's) edit in house and aren't the 'new target market' of Atomos. They want you to externally edit or cater to streamers.... Those of us that edit in house will start to think about switching, maybe to Black Magic.

@@southcoastpix9678 ProRes RAW is and has always been free. H.265 is thrown in there as a free offering bundled with the paid upgrade so what you're paying for are the other features like EL Zone.

I have 3 of the Sync modules, they're great. But the Connect module that replaces it has timecode, while also being cheaper (at least for a limited time).

shinobi 5 needs a 9:16 frameline for social media. ninja v got it

firmware OS 11 is up now... though with a bug in the url.... update is pointing to that of the new Ninja, hence nothing happens when you insert ssd. I figured out the url was missing the "V" at the end and got the OS 11 for Ninja V

Why no matching file names over SDI for the Ninja V? Do you expect us to buy a Ninja Ultra just to get this? Eh, no!

When I bought the connect and cast the master caddy III was included in the connect box.

@@marvinlovenfeldt I’ve seen that 1 master caddy is included when buying the connect. Using 3 cameras with 3 ssd each. Now all I need to do is buy 9 connects 😉 Jokes aside, that is relevant information 🙏🏼

@@AtomosChannel Thanks! Just noting that NDI was promised as a free bonus for customers who preordered the Zato Connect TWO YEARS AGO. The last firmware update on the device was more than a year ago now, and still lists as a “known limitation” that “Files recorded using the H.264 presets LQ, MQ, or HQ may not appear smooth in playback mode. However, in the streaming or HDMI/USB outputs, they should appear perfectly fluid.” This is a recorder that can’t promise smooth recordings?! It would be respectful of your paying customers to admit if the device is abandoned. Or if not, to provide some confidence that today’s promises are less empty than the last few years’.

@@AtomosChannel So glad I sold my Zato before everyone accepts its abandonware..... Really poor and misleading marketing on that product.

also some tabs are missing in the NinjaV OS11. Segment and Schedule. Segment is such an important one in my opinion

yes nothing is happening when inserting the ssd. How did you installed os11 on the ninja v?

@@maniratnamcreator that’s because the URL is pointing to the new ninja. Just right click on the URL and copy it. Change the part that has ATOMNJA to ATOMNJV. That points to the ninjaV version

I have purchased the h.265 codec as well. And I would like some kind of discount to upgrade my ninja to os11. All I want is ELZONE. let’s hope there is a better upgrade route for that

@@AtomosChannel the problem with support it is from Pakistan or one of these countries where they send you an email without saying or explaining anything they write you send a video ? I don’t understand what the video will do when I am telling them what the problem is and asking just send me step by step on how to set the atoms but sorry to say they are lazy they just look for the easiest way to answer as many as they could and then they close the case . Last year I had support from the USA was great they just guide you the step by step instructions and boom it’s over with . Through the years I’ve bought at least 15 or more monitors 5” and 7” never had a problem but as technology gets advanced it’s more screwed up . Example I bought yesterday an Apple iPad Pro 13” with a pencil and a key board paid over $2000.00 as soon as I opened it started it the iPad froze and it took over an hour for one person and a supervisor to resolve the issue as new things added that they did not know about so I resolved it by myself and the sales rep did not know anything about the iPad they know very well how to charge you and almost loose deals because of a price match with other store that the say we do price match but I might still return it 14 days trail they buy it at the place where I save over a $100 just none trained people and I wrote apple that they need to train people as apple sends you a survey and I did and they ask you if the rep showed you other items or tried to sell you but not at all . I’ve been a sales consultant in two big furniture companies in the past worked on commission and sold close to a Million and a half $’s a year and commission makes you sell so you make more money and spiffs plus more money to the community many but Apple Pay’s what ever per hour so he just doesn’t realise how many millions he looses a day the old good days of apple are gone you see a few people at the store looking killing time and leave without buying I’ve seen it on Saturday in a Las Vegas store and the Monday I went to another Las Vegas location same thing and Saturday is a big shopping day but spending two hours there and see very few people buying . Well hope not to burn you with my story hope I just get step by step on how to set it up I was about to buy the Neewer new display much cheaper and does it all Regards Sam
