Dan Evans beating Iga 6-0 6-1. He's gonna give her a game though cause he's a proper British gentleman. I know women don't like to hear that, but if you are a 5.0 or above rating in men's tennis, you just know. That takes nothing away from women's tennis. It's just as exciting as the men and sometimes moreso becase you see the full range of shots instead of smash-smash-point for 90% of the points in the men's pro game.
Luke is a UTR 13, and Michelle is a UTR 9. No surprise on the result. If they played a full match, the score is probably 6-1 6-1 or better, in Luke favour.
@@jimjones2287i personally know a fat hangover male tennis coach, not ex ATP, who beat prime Kaia Kanepi 6-1 6-2. Iga or Sabalenka or Williams etc won’t have a chance against any man with an ATP point
@@princelevnikolaevichmyshkin Stop it! Just stop you women hating pig. Iga is not losing to these dudes, they don't have her precision or ability to stay calm under the big lights. I agree anyone in top 200 would beat IGA, but these dudes in the 1000's aren't.
It's like asking how well the world's best female 100m sprinter would do in the men's competition. The women's best time this year by Jacious SEARS is 10.77, which would place her 2800th in the 2024 men's rankings
What's really sad is that neither of them wanted to give their opinion about ATP vs WTA because of being "cancelled". This is what our society has come too. People afraid to talk about their opinions.
Any guy within the top 1000, easy. Why does everyone feel the need to compare them, Women’s and men’s tennis are completely different sports. Would female sprinters be racing Usain Bolt, of course not. The same with tennis.
@@eincan1313 are you talking about Iga Swiatek? because she would destroy any guy outside the top 500 and give a good fight against anyone in the 200-500 range
@@maximonure5413 You are joking right? Iga would not “destroy” any guy outside the top 500. Iga is a 13 UTR. The top WTA players get beat often by their male hitting partners who are guys playing ITF’s or high level college. I know, because I know some of them. Could she compete with 500+ sure, but I don’t think she is beating anybody consistently until you get in 900-1000 range. The disadvantage she has on serve and court coverage is crazy.
@maximonure5413 No chance of that. Iga would look great against female competitors. Put a top 500 man in there and you will see her struggling to get the serve back and struggling to win points on her own serve and will end up losing big.
The other problem she had was when he hit a slice backhand..women don't play it with the same bite as a man..down to wrist strength..so she won't know how to adapt to it..Great video out there of mira andreeva (top 40 wta) playing no.1200 in world man..he replaced a woman who injured herself just before an exhibition match...she played great...but lost 5 & 2 i think..
@@eincan1313 top 100,000 if you could all the kids are retired people prob. higher if people took a couple months to train like squash players and part time tennis players in other games.
Yeah it's just an awkward question every time. In sports where you can easily guess how it would go like swimming or running where you can just compare times it's obvious the gap between top men and women is huge. But in sports like soccer and tennis there is always a lot of awkward avoiding of this question as people would be upset that the #1 female player/team wouldn't be close to top #1000. Why such a fuss about it
@@markvanderwerf8592 Kind of like when the US Women’s soccer team lost 5-2 to a 15 and under boys team (and it wasn’t even as close as the score). You are right it is awkward, but it keeps coming up with tennis. McEnroe got loads of crap when he said Serena would be 700 in the world and he was being generous as she would be outside the top 1000 easy. I don’t know why people feel the need to compare in tennis. It is not like they are asking female sprinters to race Usain Bolt or WNBA players to play Lebron.
@@ThesGt no, I have no issue with, for instance, Billy Harris being called an ATP player because he has actually played tour level matches (albeit only 2). Have these 2 even played challengers?
The guys was ranked 203 and his name was Karsten Braasch. He was coming off injury and was barely training. Smoked cigarettes, was drinking beer and just got off the golf course that morning. He beat them 1 and 2.
You are talking about two completely different things. WTA and ATP are two different tours. If women compete on the same tour as men then we can compare money. The only competition that men and women can theoretically compete as equal is chess.
