For once the section about Prime was a bit frustrating lol. The whole point is that the drink is marketed toward being for hydration when chemically it is designed not to be while also costing more, selling purely due the person behind it.
The main reason why everybody is criticising prime is because of their highly misleading marketing claims. If Logan and Ksi would market this product as a better alternative for normal sodas (cola, Sprite, Fanta) this wouldn’t be a big deal but to call this „the best“ hydration formula while talking shit about your competition (All of them are better for hydration) at the same time is fucking embarrassing. Sorry for language I’m very passionate about staying hydrated.

I think he is currently doing a survey of hummingbirds in the South American jungle. Mostly focuses on debunking ancient history conspiracies but has great videos on significant anthropological and archeological finds.

I've been noticing a LOT of ~6 hour youtube videos recommended to me late at night. I think the algorithm has been tweaked at some point recently to factor in the time of day when people are more likely to just want something semi-interesting playing on a screen for as long as possible, and is starting to recommend super long videos to people at the perfect time for them to actually click it.

The tipping video reminded me of the time I went to a small-scale barber by my campus. He charges $20 per cut so it’s high but I was okay with helping out the local business. Gonna be real I never tip. I already was hesitant but after a friend told me I was a loser for tipping 20 percent. Personally I just think its on the employer to pay for the employees and I am not enabling it. To those who say I only wanna do this to save money, you are totally right. I'm not paying these peoples wages, the employer is and if they can't afford it maybe they can figure out how to make a sustainable business. Yeah tipping culture is crazy, I had an ex yell at me for, "not tipping 20%", at a starbucks. I literally tipped 10% bruh. All the employee did was mix my damn hot chocolate. Tipping is cringe.

Messes with payday apps too reducing amounts and messing up payment dates it's very restricted. People also do tip more with the system and then they complain for tipping haha.

Honestly just screw-tipping in general. I have thought this since like 2005 when I noticed tipping prices going from 12-20% where it is today. Owners are just making people pay their workers more instead of doing it themselves and nobody bats an eye. It's completely baffling. The strike America needs the most is for every waiter/waitress walking out until they get paid more, or until the government sets a max tip % of like 10% on everything. That way owners can't abuse their employees and actually have to increase their wages. I refuse to go above 10%. If it sucks for you as the employee it's not your job to guilt trip the customer or get mad at them. It's on everyone to actually stand up for their worth

one piece doesn't really hit its stride until hundreds of episodes in and it doesn't start to peak until hundreds of episodes more. Luckily the base story is enjoyable enough for most people.

The argument the original video was trying to make was a bad one meant to appeal to a false sense of "objectivity" by playing both sides and pretending that opposing arguments have any merit. Private equities buying up other companies and consolidating into a monopoly will not have any benefits for anyone but the companies and their shareholders, and to pretend otherwise would be ignoring reality.

I agree with the experts in this case, because the experts are against the consolidation of companies into monopolies. What Atrioc and I had issue with was the comment right before that, which felt like an unnecessary playing of both sides. If you make a whole video talking about how it's bad for private equities to be buying up corporations, there's no need to then say "but maybe there's actually some benefits".

To address why it’s bad, you have to acknowledge that there might be some theoretical benefits, but then say that those benefits do not matter because they are not good enough. That is the basis of all arguments. If you can’t do that, you cannot argue against the other persons position.
