@mr.midnight23 I'm not gonna pretend I looked up his contract but highly doubt their was some kind of clause prohibiting that it's just a scandal because of how dangerous rodeos are and a owner doesn't want to give out a 300 million dollar contract to a guy who could permanently damage his arm. However I wouldn't be surprised if in the next contract there is now a no rodeo clause lmao
it's an extremely big myth fortunately, there is no problem throwing curves past little league and it's probably okay for the good little league pitchers to throw one. Throwing fastballs probably screws up your form and arm more than breaking balls, forcing your form into more sidearm when you try and throw harder.
Throwing a curveball puts no more strain on your elbow than a fastball does. However, a lot of kids throw curveballs wrong because they think you have to twist your wrist as you throw it to get the curve. That’s when it gets dangerous, but a proper curveball where you keep your wrist stiff and throw the ball like a football isn’t dangerous.
Anyone thinking Joe West was the worst ump to touch the game has never heard the name Angel Hernandez, the greatest of grade A dog-shit calls behind the plate and on the field, that still somehow has a job.
Joe West is annoying because he definitely tries to be the center of attention (and has questionable calls). Angel Hernandez is annoying because he’s actually the worst
please make this a big a series. It's so entertaining. I've seen all of the Baseball Doesn't Exist videos and I'd love to re-watch them all with your commentary.
For guys raised in the 90s and played ball then and the early 2000s know why Bumgardner was always mad in this era bc growing up playing in the 90s and 2000s you weren't allowed to have fun or get mad in high school/college baseball, we were to expected to play emotionless causing quite a bit of passive aggressiveness. My oldest brother was a top high school prosect in '99 as a catcher with nearly .700 batting avg and 10 hrs in 16 games leading our school to tye state championship game, and he was the angriest most aggressive player I ever knew. He played at a prestigious VA University and was a lock for the pros but instead opting to quit baseball after one pro tryout bc he met some baseball groupie he married and had kids with immediately after meeting. In his playing days he was the scariest guy I knew and luckily he was my brother, ever of four years.
lol I thought this was the same video as the Manny Ramirez one for a good minute and was about to leave before realising that one was also reacted to by Big A
I love Baseball Doesn't Exist, and when I saw this video, I immediately thought "I hope Atrioc reacts to this like the Manny one" lmao so freaking cool man
Really elite level anything... usually headcases in one form or another. Probably because they're elite at [thing], and literally don't do anything else. But, there seems to be a higher concentration with MLB baseball pitchers. So many are _out there_
This guy cost my hometown team the Royals a World Series title and I still haven’t forgiven him for it glad to know that he’s absolutely insane though makes me feel a bit better…..I was at that game where they gave him the truck and let me tell you what video doesn’t do justice to how awkward it was
