honestly almost everything from the war for paradis arc and onwards this music will fit in perfectly. spoliers: i think the most crucial part will be hailli's death. i think i butchered the name, but the boy that gets crushed by the rumbling. this will give it such a huge effect to it honestly.
@@HybrydATP64 Antagonist, not villain. He's not doing it because he's evil and angry like that, he is doing it because that's the only certain way of protecting his people. Much the same way Vlad the Impaler was a monster to the ottomans and the rest of the world, but he's a national hero in his country. It is a matter of perspective.
I first heard this when Season 3 had started and I hadn't watched any episodes but Eren's hardening powers had been revealed in the anime and I already took a liking to the track after watching that scene. It served no better purpose than the absolute hopelessness and desperation you felt when Rod transformed into a Titan. You feel for the people of the walls since they are more than likely going to have no defense against him and I felt somewhat bad for Rod since he was not only mindless like the rest of the titans but severely handicapped, having his face ripped off on the ground as he tries to become human once more. That POV shot where you see through the titan's eyes for the first time and get some insight into how they perceive humans was just perfection.
@@alexanderkorol677 It wasn't necessarily the dark green shade, more so that the people inside the walls were all glowing, and he could see them from miles away. Rod Reiss was an abnormal titan. Abnormal titans can either has abnormal movements, or they seek out large groups of people. Rod Reiss ignored the survey corps near him and was heading straight for Orvud district. Also in Season 2, Ymir said that everyday in her titan form was like living in a nightmare. When Historia kills Rod Reiss, she gets a glimpse of his memories. When his father locked him up and refused to free humanity from the titans, his brother Uri and daughter Frieda succumbing to the will of the first king, there's a glimpse of the start of his affair with Alma (Historia's mother) and then it shows the aftermath of when Kenny killed her. He was reliving the most horrific moments of his life. It was his Titan nightmare.
@@alexanderkorol677 For Ymir, I bet it was what we saw in Season 2. How the cultists that took her in were found and arrested and then they were all transformed into titans. For Dina, it was probably when her own son Zeke turned her, Grisha and the restorationists in to the authorities, and Dina getting kicked off the wall in front of Grisha. Their nightmares would have some similarities that's for sure.
As cool as it would be to use this soundtrack for the rumbling, let's not become too obsessed with the idea, so that we won't harass the studio again just because of the choice of a song.
@@usedtissuepaper42 Really, NEW music is the key. Let the old season's music be special for, well the old season. I imagine the climax of Ch 131 episode to have a piano-violin ost like Crybaby from Devilman.
i love how everyone was talking about 'that' scene already, even though it hasn't even been animated yet nor they have decided what ost to put on that scene...
@@Cars2155 ngl I've tried watching it, 6 episodes and I was bored to death. AoT was keeping me intrigued and invested through entire anime, Code Geass couldn't even keep me interested through first 6 episodes...
Damn it's sad, I love this theme so much. I hope their choice was even better or else I'll be really disappointed... Whole Rod Reiss appearance in third season was one of the most epic moments in AoT for me only because of this theme playing in the background
Summary of my own vision about the rumbling with this ost {with spoliers}. 0:00 The war on Shiganshina, 0:55 Eren start run, 1:05 Eren and Gabi exchange looks and gabi shoots Eren neck, Eren's head falls on Zeeke Hand 1:15 Eren transformation on Titan begins, 1:44 the walls start to break, 2:34 every Eldian go to the path's, 2:48 Eren's speech begins 3:20 Eren's start to move with the colossal/Colossal march begins and they slowly disappear on the horizon of Paradiz 4:05 colossal march vs battle ship's, 4:54 the destruction of the world begins.
I wholeheartedly agree with everyone else in this comment section. This made me revisit Season 3 and my goodness I forgot how great it was. I truly hope this piece comes back sometime during the final arc BECAUSE MY GOODNESS IF IT DOES 🔥🔥🔥
spoilers the build-up for 4:56 could be the wall titans swimming under the world fleet, and then 4:56 could be them rising up, destroying the fleet, and getting to shore. Showing that humanity has officially lost hope.
This song will transcend time as I hope that it'll be used for a specific scene in the manga. SPOILERS!!! ARMIN'S LEGENDARY COLOSSAL TITAN TRANSFORMATION NEEDS THIS SONG. PERFECT REPRESENTATION OF SADNESS, GRIEF BUT ALSO TORTURE AND EPICNESS. COME ON MAPPA DO THE RIGHT THING!!!
