While it was necessary for the paradis troops, it is objectively inhumane as you are willingly ending many lives. One could also argue that Armin was forced into this position due to his genius and gain of the colossal titan.

The sad thing is this WAS the minimum. Marley parking the fleet so close to the coast doomed anyone in Armin's blast radius. Had the Survey Corps been looking to target civilians, they could have had Armin transform further inside Liberio.

I don't understand why Armin gets this much hate though. He is a really good character. I do understand the reason behind "Levi should have given the injection to Erwin" thing that everyone says... But like- come on, guys! Armin is not a stupid! He just lacks self confidence, that's it. He is an intelligent character indeed. Erwin is like 30+ years old and has a lot of experience whereas Armin was just 15 (19 in S4) but still managed solve several mysteries and helped everyone. Even Erwin said that Armin is someone important to them. I don't understand, does reading the newest chapters makes you forget the things that had happened earlier?

SPOILER Actually, the last chapters of the manga make it very clear that choosing Armin instead of Erwin was not a mistake. Erwin was a great leader and it's understandable that people miss that, but Armin played such an important role in the last part of the manga, I really can't imagine Erwin doing all of that - partly because their personalities and philosophies are different, but mostly because their relationship with Eren is so vastly different. I always wonder what those who still believe that Erwin should have gotten the injection imagine the rest of the manga would be like if that happened. Like, what would Erwin have done about Eren and his plan? Who would he even have sided with? I know we can only theorize and will never know for sure, but since there are so many people who would have preferred Erwin to live and have the Colossal Titan, I'm really curious as to what exactly they have in mind.

the collossal titan its bomb is bigger than anything in the Aot universe, but its tiny compared to the bombs we can make today. while armin can destroy a port and a small part of the city, bombs we have today can wipe out cities far larger in an instant. when it comes to raw power, there is nothing that can beat humanity their obssession with killing each other. after the entire world witnessed the power of the nukes thrown on japan, instead of looking at it in disgust and horror they (the people in power) decided that it wasnt nearly enough and just kept making bigger and stronger nukes

1:28 listening to the background music for Pieck Squad vs Survey Corps was wonderful and bombastic, but how sad is this. It is Armin's reaction after transforming into the Colossal Titan and destroying almost all of Marley and its inhabitants, and asking Berthold indirectly that these are the landscapes he saw, it makes me sad because he has a cross that he had to carry :' (.
