Hey mate, check for injector pulse with a little led light (most auto shops sell them) see if it will start on aerostart, if theres no injector pulse it may need a new CAS or even clean the CAS with contact cleaner

Looks like its building to much pressure, Check the filter over the diff. Even though you said you checked the reg had pressure on the other side. Get some multi grip and pinch the return line (this actually happened to me and i put an aftermarket reg in). Unplug the AFM. Sometimes when the AFM is stuffed it will stop it starting but will start with it unplugged. Could be CAS, These will still fire spark but actually stop injector pulse. Check computer for trouble codes.

I second this my return line was blocked, the steel bit just before the old hose to tank. I went to a vs set up but flushed out the line with the return hose disconnected in a bucket, once it returned clean I connected it to sender and she fired. A regulator with a gauge very handy to troubleshoot

@@VL_Life no drama. heaps you can do to the rbs even NA. I pulled a fair bit of power out of mine. (With abit of work). You can also adjust the fuel mixture with the AFM. There is a little black bung on the side you punch out. Regarding the fuel sender you can actually check if it works with a multimeter to. You move the float up and down while checking resistance along the plug pins. If the resistance moves up and down it's working.

@@VL_Life also if your using a higher flower pump you will need an aftermarket regulator. I don't think the NA reg will be able to regulate the pressure properly

You should check the engine oil level make sure there's enough, especially if it has been sitting for a while, and then when you get it started, warm the engine and change the old oil and filter before you take it anywhere as that old oil would be no good.

I'd be checking the Crank angle sensor.. Fairly common fault with these, as with most commodores. As wdrfilms has said too.. Injector pulse needs to be checked. Make sure they are working.

clean those spark plugs, sometimes stops it from getting enough spark to start, also timing could be out

Hey why didnt you cover the distributor b4 u washed the engine&should of replaced the fuel lines at the back of the fuel tank when u had it out...& check that the injectors are not blocked

if it runs on a can of "instant engine starter" then ill be looking into the fuel system, defo shouldnt be leaking petrol all over the ground lol
