Gemma, pls don’t hate yourself 😢 you are a strong beautiful woman and don’t let anyone take that away from you xx you are so brave to share your story xxx sending you big hugs xxx I went to my GP last year and they referred to me to the Life Centre (they have them all over the UK) and they specialise in therapy for all kinds of SA. I can’t tell you how much they helped me. I was SA aged 7 to 11…….i’m now 48 years old nearly 49 and it took me this long to seek professional help and I’m so glad I did xxx

So we can no longer use certain words like murder anymore. I used to think 1984 was just a fantasy novel about a distopian future that could never actually happen. But here we are and people are accepting the prohibition of certain words as though its completely natural.

Jesus, that was a journey and a half. Watched a few mins on TikTok and came to watch the interview. Thank you for sharing your life journey, harrowing as it was and at times I cried with you. Theresa at least a book series in this and possibly movie. Sad, moving, heartbreaking, terrifying so honest and real. ❤

I hope Gemma has gotten a therapist now. She really really needs help with that. She’s a lovely girl. She’s so traumatised she’s shout-talking and doesn’t even realise it. 100 miles an hour. She could really help other people situation her survival story.

I've never wanted to reach out and hug someone so bad. She's an absolute inspiration! Going to keep her in my prayers and pray she finds peace and healing and that many will be inspired to get help and tell their story. It was a hard listen and many tears but she is such a beautiful bright soul in the face of so much suffering. Stay strong 💪 ❤ Be kind to yourself! ❤

It’s amazing what dreadful, traumatic, sad and truly terrifying situations a human can live through and still come out the other side ok, still fighting and with a smile on your face, because you made it is extremely admirable!! The life u have lived thus far is incredible. To sit here listening to your story is like listening to a crazy action movie plot. It’s wild!! You clearly are a very strong woman and your kids I’m sure are extremely proud of you. Xx

I've been attacked twice working at a shopping centre so am upset watching this. I hope your life is so much better for you, as I could not hear the last part it made me cry. So sorry. 19 is not a kid. She was under too much pressure. Her story is so sad. She seems to be such a nice person. She’s been unlucky. Going back to live with the bully is typical of many women. They are addicted to the man, especially bad men

I noticed Gemma called herself an idiot when she talked about falling for that guys attention when no one else would go near her… Gemma, connection with other humans is something that we as mammals need. It’s why we cuddle up to someone when we’re scared and why it’s easier to sleep if someone’s there with us - animals do it too by. You’re not an idiot, you just needed connection with other people like we all do, and predatory people are experts at hiding their red flags so we don’t realise they’re predatory. Hi Gemma, from one warrior to another, your whole attitude to the pain and trauma you endured was inspiring. I've been to some dark places and met some very dark people in my life also. Remember the Story very well about the 2 sisters murdered in the park & its true Police officers taken pictures of the murderer sisters And passed the photos around their colleagues In the police station They did end up getting charged But dont know how far it went but sure it was a court case maybe still ongoing investigation
