I missed you guyssss! This series whooped my behind but I'm so glad we're now at the end and you can now buy the prints! shop.temidanso.com/ ❤ Pre-order ends March 20!! Which ones are your faves??
Straight up NO failure here! I loved watching this journey, the growth, and the EFFFFORT you put into these pieces. Gorgeous - both the art and you! I found you and subscribed around when you started this and I’ve loved watching the progression
What fascinates me about your art, is that at first, it looks like a photograph and then you slowly start to see the painting. My brain always swaps these two ways of looking at it and it gives me goosebumps! And your process is so interesting to watch as well, because sometimes everything just makes sense when you do the last brush strokes. I really don’t understand how you do that, but your talents just blows my mind ✨
This video is so encouraging. I absolutely cannot do daily challenges, though I've been writing a story with my system with one short chapter a week (less than 1000 words) for a year now! We've missed weeks along the way ofc, but it's more writing in one story than we've ever done before and we're still doing it
temi! i wanted to thank you for all your art tutorials, i never tried portraits before but then i had to for my A levels and because of watching you draw and colour so many, the portrait i drew of myself and my cat ended up in an exhibition at a museum. your art is helping so many people 🤍
Every single piece is INCREDIBLE!!! You are so amazingly skilled 🤩 I think the eye and pumpkin are my favorites though👌 it may have taken you longer than expected but you’re still going and that’s the main thing!!
Oh my goodness… are we really here?!? At the full video?!? I’m so proud of you! Finished or not, in 30 days or not, you challenged yourself to learn a new medium and you DID that! I’ve been a traditional artists for a long time, I’m 37, and last year I decided to try digital. My husband spent well over $1500 to get me all set up and… haters will say I failed too. I still don’t do it regularly, don’t know the basics of digital and I forget the basic fundamentals of art the moment I open the program. I’m trying… still, but I’m definitely not where I want to be. Trying something new is always hard, especially when you’re so comfortable with the your chosen medium. But the fact that you were brave enough to publicly challenge yourself and keep picking up no matter what… that gives you more of an accomplishment than anything else. ❤ they’re all beautiful
i am always blown away by your art. ik posting for yt is so much pressure but dont let that detract from your (ckearly) very developed skills. numbers mean nothing in comparison to progress
Honestly I love how real you are and even about how long it’s taken you. Showing artist that sometimes it takes a little longer then planned but to keep going which you have! Theses are all awesome and is a great idea to help build your skills. Thanks for this awesome series Temi! Keep up the great work and thanks ☺️
Same. I come here every so often just hoping she posts a new video. She seems active on instagram but even then, I haven't seen a lot of art content. I would hate to hear that she's quitting youtube (because it doesn't seem like she enjoys making content as much, putting in mind she has other art projects besides RU-vid that she's working on). She's really my favourite artist 😕 Edit : Temi said she will be back this month on YT ❤ I asked her on one of her recent instagram posts :)
Hi Temi, thank you for this video. You inspired me as a small artist/creator to also start painting on pantone cards. I am on day 50/100 now and started almost a year ago. I really relate to not being able to paint every single day, but simply starting and making steady slow progress is just as important. ❤ Thanks again for your great videos! Oh and my favorites are the orange and inverted art cards, congrats on your hard work. 👍
Temi, I’d happily wait an eternity for you to finish this series. These are all masterpieces and show up and the most unexpected yet perfect times. I’ve loved them all so much!
These are so beautiful! I want to try gouache so bad, but I'm so nervous. I love that these are different than the usual studio ghibli gouache videos I always get recommended.
I have never seen such beautiful and joyful paintings. I have been following this series for a while now. I used to get so excited every time you started a new one and liked hearing the story or painting process behind it. It's people like you who bring the joy of art. I can not explain how much that has inspired me. You're so talented and amazing!!
Brilliant! ❤ They all came out so beautifully. Great challenge that you did live up to even if you still have cards to paint! Great example for those of us who want to work on our painting! Love you! You're so awesome! Appreciate your honesty and vulnerability as an artist as well. You are an inspiration!
I would love to try this. I only have jelly gouche too. I have tried some small pieces, but because I have gone quick (like you with 30 minutes), it hasn't had time to dry and it results in a mess. I think I also prefer pencils, plus I don't mine acrylic and oil paints too :) The thing I hate most is the clean up. I like the concept of 30 minutes a day, but I always think of the time it takes to clean brushes and all that. That is what slows me down and creates second thoughts.
I love the gummy bear one and the orange one!!! The transparency of the gummy bears and the fact you did it with gouache makes me so happy!!!! I absolutely love seeing you're progress!!!
I just wanted to say I randomly started doing art a couple years ago when i was 24 and your channel has literally been one of my biggest inspirations. I genuinely thought it was too late for me to learn a new skill like art but after watching multiple of your videos and learning different processes from you I've actually become really good at portraits! I'm still working on painting but I'm getting there too. :) I don't usually comment on RU-vid but I just wanted to verbalize how good and useful your channel is and keep up the amazing work!
Hey I know I’m much too late to comment for you to see but I just want to say that over lockdown during my early teen years you are the reason why I started taking art more seriously. I have not seen your channel pop up in a while but when I saw it recommended I knew I had to click as it bought back so much nostalgia I remember your 50k q n a and I was there from the beginning I admire how much your channel has grown and how you have over the years built an audience. I am now 16 and I drew my pfp making use of prisma colours. You introduced them to me. Thank you 🙏
I am running to order that sunflower print! I love it🌻 I’ve always been a watercolor girl but after watching this yesterday I was inspired to open up the acrylic set that had been gathering dust since my bday. I don’t love the painting yet but you have taught me to trust the process and be patient with growth. Thanks Temi🥰
It has been such a journey. For you and for me. When you started this series my aunt was really sick with cancer and she's since passed away. So man this series brings back memories
It's hard to pick only a few favorites. So many of them are darn near photo realistic. The gummy bears, human eye, and the orange stand out to me. I think the giraffe might have been the first one of your shorts that was recommended to me so it's definitely on the list of favorites. Even if you didn't do them within the time limit (finishing a piece every day is darn near impossible, I swear), I would not call this a failure by any stretch
man i’ve been watching this series since the start waiting for it to end but now i don’t want it to end man your journey was so powerful and inspiring!!!!❤️
Can't believe I've been here since the beginning! Gonna go through all the shorts to remember which ones were my favourite and buy some. As someone who struggles with doing things every day and perfectionism seeing you continue and persevere with this has been amazing and I thank you for that. Love seeing when you have created a new video!
You did amazing job! I loved watching your shorts and I love all the pieces! 😍Some people don't realize how much work it is to paint even a seemingly small painting.
Congrats on how far you have come & achieve. You did an excellent job. You’re nearing the end of this artistic journey. 💞 Are you going to sell the entire gouache paintings in a complete bundle? I want to get the entire collection of these beautiful gouache artworks. 🤔😁💞💞💞🎊💫
Temi you know what when i saw you doing this challenge a year back i thought of doing the same it took me some time to collect all the supplies and when i started my 1st painting was actually good and as soon as i started second it was awful so was 3rd and 4th. what i mean is it takes time for getting ready for a new piece and it's OK still you paintings are the the most beautiful and we all support you
Thank you Soo much temi for you to fight until the end honestly I thought my art is not good enough but honestly if it wasn't for you I would have never known that my art is always a master peace. 😊
You have inspired me to go to school for art/animation. I have been studying engineering for years / part time and eventually took an extended break cuz while I was passing classes with As I wasn’t happy. Im in my early 30s and being in the Air Force I decide I want to go pursue my art Dreams and study animation. I found your channel browsing through RU-vid and your 30 day challenge popped up with your painting. It made me more encouraged to study art. So while you might have “failed” your goal please know you succeeded in the goal of inspiring and encouraging others. I’m scared, excited, and nervous. But you resilience has really motivated me.
These are actually impressive, I never thought these details can even be achieved on cardboard that size with gouache. I always thought of gouache as cheap paint for drawing large slogans. Also your color picking skills are very good to achieve that with gouache drying issues. Impressive.
I loved this series so much! I found your channel through it around the beginning of the series. If you ever want to do something similar with a different medium (I know you said you picked up some new ones) I would possibly call it something like "Gouache Painting # 1" instead of "Painting Every Day For 30 Days" so that there isn't the "expectation", but we can also still see your journey in that medium. I would also personally love to see future gouache content if you decide to make any! ❤
GIRRRRLLLLLLL!!!!!!! So happy to see you again! I've missed you so much! All the paintings are beautiful. Gouache is so tricksy, but you did really well with it. I totally agree with your fifth point. I always say, in order of priority: First, are you having fun? Second, is there something in this piece you like? Third, did you learn something?
9:17 I feel this. I started the 100 heads challenge over a year ago and I haven't gotten back to it. Luckily my audience is small... Maybe no one noticed? 😅🤣
Thank you for the video and keeping up with a challenge! The second point about gouache may be fixed by getting yourself a designers or a professional brand. You can try out CMYK pallet by winsor & newton, or pick the individual colors by shinhan, in my experience it doesn’t change color on dried painting.
