That is by far the furthest I’ve seen the Byzantines spread and and that’s saying something because they usually barely take land beyond their initial borders. I did notice that you were just to the west of a pretty large Ruthenian kingdom that clearly got absorbed by Byzantium.

Must be the toughest run yet, other formable nations were larger but this time it seemed the game was going out of its way to make sure you couldn't win, great job pulling it off! Great montage at 12 mins though!

It took me several game saves to get the Kingdom of Livonia, starting as Prussia, and then forming the Baltic Empire. Definitely one of the hardest games I've played.

That automatically changing to feudal has to be new-ish, that would have killed my enthusiasm to continue this run.

Wait... you had conquest casus bellis when you became independent, but you still spent money on duchy claims while at wat instead of getting more prestige through smaller wars and eventually taking the last bits you want with a duchy conquest or two

I converted to Catholicism and used the Bank of Rome to unite the Baltics as a non-German Prussia. My best campaign yet. The only other one that's close is my 876 Belgium campaign.

1066 is such a cursed starting date. There's so much BS happening everywhere I don't even bother starting on that date. 867 is the only date I start any playthrough on.

Curonians actually raided Scandinavians at the Viking age. Curonians and some Estonian tribes came together and burned down Swedish capital city, Swede vikings built over Stockholm over the ruins. And fun Fact, Baltic tribes were the last Pagans of Europe, they were fierce fighters and close to nature, and they were fighting till the end against other religions like christianity.

I united Lithuania under the Prussians Vidilist Kingdom but was left at an empasse surrounded by Catholic leaders and large kingdoms that were hard to invade, fun region though.

I think you forgot that you still kept vidilist unreformed because you could just use conquest CB and you are also able to raid even if you are feudal, so you didn't really need to spend all that money buying claims

As an estonian myself, this region in CK3 is kind of wrong. Current day estonians are related to livonians, in fact, phrases like ''Estonia'' and ''estonians'' are tad bit newer development in the region here. During middle ages this region was known as Livonia and such a thing as Estonia didnt excist! There are still some people left who identify themselves as ''livonians'' and their language sounds like a mix between modern day finnish and estonian allthough, there are not many native speakers remaining!

How ANYTHING may be possibly painful in CKIII? The game is so easy that there is nothing to do in one generation of your sim rulers. In 100 years you may fight half the map simultaneously, what ever start you have chosen. I mean WTF?

Livonians are Finno-Ugric, not Baltic, and Livonia would theoretically be the state of Livonians. I don't know why Paradox can't understand this. It's like Polish people, a slavic ethnicity, creating the kingdom of Germany, a kingdom whose name and primary population stems from a germanic ethnic group.

World conquest as a Character with negative stats, starting as a vassal of theStrongest empire in the bookmark ( 867 or 1066 ). Time-limit of 150 years

Bruh your early games are so unlucky 😂 getting raided, invaded or children dying at early age or getting terrible traits , these things rarely happens to me 😂😂
