Need for speed shift 2 has the most realistic cockpit view I've ever seen in a racing game, even to today's standards. From the driver's hands turning the steering wheel/shifting the gear lever to the camera pans to the apex when attacking the corner with g-forces and especially looking out of the window when drifting (which u normally do in real life),the car and camera shaking distinguishly in each car due to the power/toque it outputs, not mentioned sence of danger when going at high speeds which gives adrenaline, fear, regret lol
I always liked this game, same that I never played, I really hate the critics, I will ever like a game or not, doing my own review, the critcs opinion doesn't mean a SHIT for me, them all suck
@@apriliantisubarna5868 Now I like more Shift 2, but before it was Shift 1, and I didn't made a fair review with Shift 2 as I did with Shift 1, and the reason is because Shift 2 is a enhanced version of Shift 1
I’ve heard that PCars 3 is supposed to be somewhat of a successor to Shift 2 versus PCars 2. Anyone have any thoughts they’d like to share on this? I’ve avoided buying it because I keep hearing so much trash talk and it’s hard to find positivity surrounding it so I ended up picking up GT Sport a few days ago cause it was hella cheap. I miss Slightly Mad’s helmet cam and sound so much lol
@@_n-Dee_ there wasn’t much to love about PCars2 other than the weather so nah I love GT7 much more. Just waiting to see how they balance the economy after the recent hiccups
This game looks and feels better than most of the new garbage racing games. If only the cartoon driving physics could be updated somehow this would have been simply the best driving game ever.
Already have those games, but not impressed that they didn't annouce it in advance so that people who hadn't bought the games could have timebto buy them.
why are you people so against piracy in these cases, the games are getting deleted from standard methods of acquisition, so fuck the publishers, crack them... hell i crack modern triple a games because i think they're not worth my money
the same developers of nfs Shift (and the ProjectCars-series on PS4) had released a similar PS3 game in 2012 only with Ferrari cars, called TestDrive Ferrari ...
You can do this for more speedy driving 1. Go to tune 2. Click on save 3. Choose all truck and save it again 4. Click on test and enjoy your speedy drive in nurburgring while you driving wrong way. It will work for any truck .
I feel like it's till this day a very underrated game. It features some things only sim-dedicated games would bring up years later, and I wish I could have acquired my PC earlier, so I could install it before EA removed it from its store...
List of racing games that I know who using the individual gauges as HUD 1. TDU Series (the one who start this trend) 2. PGR 4 3. SHIFT Series 4. Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends Let me know if there's another racing games that using the same way like those games above
This game needs a comeback so bad it had all the FIA gt3 gt1 cars I loved every signal one and the works conversions 😩😩😩 sex on wheels especially the reventon but besides the point I want to play it so bad again
i hate the fact that i bought shift 2 on origin, and can't play the game. Apparently the servers can't recognize the licence and bla bla bla. I'm just happy i just spent 2euros. If someone has a solution i'll be glad. Same goes for NFS Rivals. IDK why origin is so shit with their own games
I could praise about everything in this game but unfortunately, the input is it's biggest flaw. This game is the "how to make a proper camera", while nfs mw 2012 and onwards were "how *not* to make a proper camera" (with car butt close-ups on landing and etc).
What mods are you using? I'm planning to play it again. Not sure if I should wait for the 1.2 Unofficial patch, or use other patches & where I should get car packs from.
not really actually, i tried playing it with my T300RS GT and the problem it has is its floaty physics, you can't take turns without the rear end stepping out of line, which is something you probably could get used to, but it feels unnatural
hold up- so you telling me no limits drag racing 2.0 free roam map for inspired by nfs shift 2 unleashed ?????? look at the map where the rx-8 is drifting in the first part and you’ll see how it relates so much , i know im not the only one to notice that 😳 y’all better go look at it
What are u talking about? No hear about ucp? They unpack the game and mod everything... tons if new cars...and the handling is awesome... look for a guy names railgun...he stay mod the game
It's feels slippery but also gripping at the end of the corner which kinda confusing to get used to the physics :( that and the AI is the downside of this game. Other than that, this game actually have its potential, but those 2 weakness really gave a bad image for this game :3
