Thanks.. Good video showing this size on a (semi) stock truck. I'm going with the same tire and size on my Tundra. The originals were also 275/65/18 . Like the wheel wells a little more filled out. Any difference in MPG, speedo, or power loss? The truck looks great.. You should post a video on the truck with spacers.. Also a before shot (If you have one) of the truck before new tires and spacers.
Not a huge difference in the MPG or loss of power. I actually do have a video of me installing the 2” wheel spacers. Check my channel out to view that video. Definitely shows how filled the wheel well looks before and after. Thanks for the love 🤙🏼
I bough the 275/55/r20 XT and I have the same problem with the road noise which doesn’t really bother me, but the biggest down fall on mine was that the balance was really off. It’s hard to balance these tires to a smooth comfortable ride while driving on the freeway.
Thanks for the advise, I did take it back to the tire shop. It turns out one of the rims was “defective” so now I have to follow up with the manufactures warranty. Other than that tires are on point 👌🏼
how are they on wet roads. I'm in hawaii and judging by your name i assume you know what im talking about. my swampers hydro planed like crazy, got some sumitomos on my current truck and almost shit my pants today when my truck hydo'd im stuck between the nitto ridge grapplers and these. appreciate your help thank you. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Aloha my braddah! Yes I’m from Hawaii born and raised. They are great all around tires. I’ve had them in the rain and they work great. Bang for your buck. 🤙🏼
Actually I currently live in Minnesota and bought them here. I do know that discount tire price match. So I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to have them ship it to Hawaii from the warehouse and get them for the same price I paid. I paid just over $900 for tire and the tire insurance offered by discount tire. 🤙🏼
They are holding up real nice. I just think they have the desired aggressive look especially for the side wall. I must say though the more I listen the more I hear the humming from the tires. That would be the only downfall but it doesn’t bother me as much as it might for others. Hope everything works out for you. 🤙🏼
@@ALohaBoostdF Thank you for the reply my old f150 had nitto trail grapplers on it so they cant be near as loud as those. I wanted to put nittos ridge grapplers on this truck but saving a thousand dollars seems like a great idea right now.
They are holding up great. Every oil change at 5,000 miles I’m rotating them and there are no cupping and crazy ware. They do have a little him to them now that they are broken in . 🤙🏼
I have about 7,000 on the tires as of right now and they are holding up. I did find out that after they are broken in they do have noticeable hum while driving. I would buy them again just because they are a good bang for your buck.
Moscatiello Mason they do have a little hum to them but the ride is nice. The aggressive look they have will overall change the look of your truck in a good way 🤙🏼
