I was sent out these two units from Aubliq a few weeks ago and after using them during these tow weeks, I noticed they have multiple uses.
Not only do they look great as minimalist watch stand, but also allow the watch to be placed at differing angles overnight so as to gain the best results in accuracy upon sunrise.

Sweet Jesus Peter, I have to stop, watching your Channel. Watching your videos is getting really expensive. 😊 After a few watches and straps, I had to have, after seeing them presented by you, now I ordered 5 of these beautiful things. They will be placed on my desk, my Sideboard, and in my photostudio. I am looking now for a long time for the perfect watch stand. I want to usw them for photographing watches and for just put my Watch down, after a long day. 😊 I love your presentations, but I have to stop watching them . . . I get you wit the 556 thing. I bought a CW 36mm Sealander (black dial) earlier this year, and liked it so much I went back and bought the yellow version ... then the green. They sit so well on my wrist and just feel, well, so right.👌

The top part being round is definitely problematic and it’ll be required to take that extra time to nail the spot where the watch is not going to slip

An interesting product, and obviously well-made, however, it isn't something I need at the moment. As I wear my watches in bed (so I can check in the middle of the night) a stand isn't required. I take into account the positional variance by regulating my watches to reflect how they perform over a whole 24-hour period. The Android app WatchCheck is central to that measurement. If I was to take my watch off overnight, then a stand would be useful, and that is where a 3D printed unit would make an interesting project to model up.

More so lately as I have acquired several high accuracy quartz watches. So far the Casio Oceanus titanium multi band 6 is the winner for wrist times. Perfect accuracy and very comfortable with decent enough lume to wear 24/7. I really like it. Tomorrow for my dress watch I will wear a Seiko dolce gold tank watch

Yep I like that, I always time my watches on a 24hr cycle, worn and sleeping face up and I can always get them with in 2 or 3 seconds no matter how cheap the movement is ( as long as it’s not from China ) so this little gem will help a lot Great review as always 👍

I printed my stands in black pla so they stand neatly in a row. That way I can always see them and appreciate them, but can grab one quickly as well. Accuracy isn't a big deal for me. More then not the watches already stopped running. Also I try to wear all of the 7 watches I own. If I don't wear a watch, I should own it.

Interestingly my BB58 has similar characteristics. While being worn it will loose a second or 2. Lay it flat overnight and it will gain that time back. If I don’t want it to change overnight I do the same as you, on its side crown up. The stand does look rather nice 👍

My BB58 does exactly the same, loose 2 wearing, gain 2 flat. Sometimes at the end of a week, it’s zero.

What’s the security over night on the pad in the instance of a small knock? That would be my only concern reaching over middle of the night and knocking it off.

Personally I dont reach for the watches at night, thats a sure way to hear a loud THUD on the floor bro...but thats just me😂😂

I put mine on a pillow in my watch box at different angles to keep them as accurate as possible. All timed in different positions over night to make the watches as accurate as possible 👍

@@stevie-con67 ha. Mine too. For me the accuracy of the movement is the manufacturer showing how good they are and if I can regulate it myself using positions to making it more accurate it would be rude not to 🤪

They're cool, but unless you only have 1 or 2 watches, you're going to need a winder, so I'm not sure how useful they would be for me.

@Kiljaeden, Really? Maybe I'm just old fashioned. I actually want a new one with more capacity, lol. Like I say, unless you only have 1 or 2 watches, how would you keep them wound up? I was always told (don't know if it's true or not) that it's better to keep your watch wound that to let it constantly start/stop. That would be an interesting topic for a video, actually....

Only one way. I have been using it for crown up or down positions with the bottom pad as I put my BB58.
