I’m not sure I ever remembered this much buzz around auburn and recruiting, this early in the year. I felt like some of the moves that he made with the coaches, had a lot to do with recruiting. That looks like he hit the nail on the head. But how much will those moves add to development, and actually getting the most of them on the field and keeping them out of trouble? Gonna be interesting

Chiz’s years were better in recruiting, so far. He signed a top 3 class. If Freeze signs a top 3 class, I’ll agree with you.

I'm not at all concerned about the development. These coordinators and position coaches are absolute stars. I'm worried about other programs hiring them away.

You know who recrutied the Baltimore/DC area well and had success with those players? Nick Saban. I'll take it. If Freeze can show some proof of concept this season like Nick Saban was able to do in year two then the future is very bright on The Plains! Doesn't have to be a playoff appearance or a visit to Atlanta even. Just make some noise and maybe win a few games people thought you couldn't. Also, please don't lose anymore that you are expected to win.

Definitely. No New Mexico States. No Marylands. Be the last one standing in the close game with no choking like the Bama game. Win the ones you're supposed to, maybe take 1 of those road games. No part of that is a particularly tall order.

I’ll keep asking, please use Crain’s pic as the thumbnail on days that he’s on so I know not to click. I don’t want to give that guy any algorithm bump. Also, stop having him on, not listening throws off my morning routine.
