The next video for Auckland trains, with the shortest of the lines, being a small single-track spur off the Southern Line to Onehunga. Since 20 January 2024 (literally days before this was filmed), all trains on this line terminate at Newmarket Station to reduce the trains going to Britomart to facilitate works for the Cross City Rail project there.
Please excuse me saying "Ogahuna" or "Ogahunga" instead of Onehunga way too much throughout this video. I was so sleepy on this day and apparently I couldn't even read properly!

Great video.... not that long ago there was only the southern line... eastern line line not used. Western and O knEEE hunga line closed. After electrification O Knee Hunga was the first line reopened. Sadly the Western line was shrunk not long after the eastern line was renamed and reopened. The new Western line will travel Directly west out of Britomart and have two new stations before rejoining the Western line at Mt Albert.

Lol yr pronunciation is cute, yeah while the network is upgrading there's alot of disruptions but I don't mind because once the underground loop metro is finished it'll be amazing for me ☺

as always, its always great to see you doing train videos from over australia and otehr countries, to be fair though, as much as this line is kinda strange, as some one who dosnt live in perth, to me the thornlie line is even stranger as its only one station haha. at least they are extending it!! any ways cant wait for you to come to melbourne and unlike in auckland you will need much more than a day to cover all our trains and trams!!!!
