It’s a full alligator band on the front and back, not alligator like. Most brands don’t do this except for FP Journe, Vacheron, and Audemar Piguets on the higher priced watches. Patek Philippe doesn’t offer that with their watches. The new dials for the code 1159 Chrono24 is much nicer than the one you have, the dial is very dull, AP changes the dial because of a very poor reception to this bland dial.
The Remaster01 Chronograph from AP - now THAT is a watch that I would simply love to own! But the Code 11:59....well, let's just say it wouldn't be one for me...
Sorry, I don’t know what AP were thinking when they came out with this....it honestly looks like those twats at Vincero designed it! AP have missed the target and hit the wall with this one and I doubt they’ll sell any better than Rolex’s unloved Cellini line.
