160kmh is more than enough. I also don't floor my cars all the time. On the Autobahn at 130kmh, is enough.

@@cosminhutuleac57 peste tot era plastic. Pe bord era ceva material mai moale. Dar panourile de la usi era plastic dur, asa cum vezi in masini ieftine, nu iti da impresia ca te afli intr-o masina de 40.000€. Daca nu erau ceasurile alea, ai fi zis ca este o masina low cost

Mine is also manual 6 speed but its limited to 200 kph (i dont need more than this) .I tried top speed runs a few times and my rpm are in the middle to high 3 000 not on 4 000.

Sounds about right, my old Golf MK5 would do 140 on the clock flat out which is about 127mph if you account for variation, which is about the maximum speed for the gearbox ratios.

Jeah absolutely mine has over 250k km and I had to replace many things on the car but never on the engine. The engine is still working perfect never had problems.

It is not remaped. Last year I did a turbocharger rebuild on this car and I can surely say that it is not remaped. If you watch on the channel, I have a video with a e90 318d with 140hp and I believe that it had almost the same top speed. And you can compare this two with the passat b6 2.0 tdi, it has 170hp. And surely you will notice the diference. 😊

@@SlowFord One thing is clear. This car it's impossible to be stock. Do you know why ? Because I have had 4 engines like your car and I'm 100% sure that; Stock engine with 2.0 tdi 140 hp is about 8.9 to 9.3sec 0 - 100km/h. Watch your video on the 05:30sec you have one acceleration; 0-100km/h which is only 7.75sec so, it's about 1.50sec faster than stock, and that is the reason why I can't believe and why is impossible for me...!!!

@@musicsoffice well, first thing, it is not my car. Second thing, the owner has the car for almost 4 years, maybe the owner before him, did a tune, but I don't think so. I know the video and I know the 0-100kmh time, I filmed it. 😅😂 Do you also had a dsg automatic transmission?

@@SlowFord Yes, I had. 2 DSG and 2 Manuels. DSG = 9.3sec to 100km/h. Manuel = 8.9sec to 100km/h.

@@musicsoffice that is kind of slow for a 140hp dsg. Maybe it was something different with yours. Or maybe you are right and the one in the video was tunned. The owner of it didn't tunned it. And it didn't felt fast.

@@ARDITADJ-cx4vd not all séries the 2003 and 2004 who have but we have the mk5 from 2004 his engine have 331000 km milage and he keep running and the mk5 2.0 tdi 140 have 2 engine on white Bosch systems injection and one with simence and simence have a issue with injectors but Bosch haven't this problem because his injectors ase same of golf mk4 1.9 tdi 130 150 and the 140 have the same turbo of 130 if you don't know and the Bosch from 2005 and up its very reliable i have my friend have one of his father his milage 600000 and no problem all those years from 2006 and he change only the turbo 2 time because in algeria my country the condition is very hot all the years but the engine still running now with no problem those engine love changing the oil in 5000km and all filters because the condition on Africa or Europe or USA its note the same and the mentality of proprietor it's not the same
