Put tape over the 10mm deep socket. Then press the socket on the nut with the tape acting as a wedge. The nut won't come off as you undo it

I have a 10mm long socket (50mm) and it will NOT reach 🤔, the only thing that I can think of is to enlarge the hole on the outside enough to be able to get something in to get a grip of the bolt etc. and turning it and then pull it out. and afterward's insert a rubber blanking grommet. 👍 Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
