may have been wise to put the jack under the arm and take some pressure before removing the shock bolt

Thanks for the vid. Invest in a torque wrench or at least a breaker bar for tightening up.

Both spring has been damaged because the skock absorber has been failed. Normally when the shock absorber doesn't work property than put to much pressure and weight on the coil springs which later in a short time theose will became broken..! This is the case of your car ..

very difficult condition. I will suggest not to be under the car on this case. It could be very dangerous
