Satisfied 034 Motor Sport customer here as well - lowering springs on my 2018 TTS and Stage 1 ECM mapping program. With the lowering springs, I was the first customer to test the TTRS designed springs on my TTS. Initially, my feedback to 034 was "too tight and bouncy." But after about 1000 miles they settled in and are exactly what I wanted. It removed the wheel gap, kept my mag ride in place, and gave me the firmer (not uncomfortable) ride I was looking for. As for the Stage 1, it woke up the 2.0 turbo and made it what it should have been from the factory!
Absolutely I agree with what you said. When I first put on the springs it felt good but after it settled 100% they were perfect. Lowers the car more than advertised too and it’s very close to a stock feel they are amazing especially for the price man! Glad you have had good success with them
i've been riding on my S3 H&R super sports for a month now and for me it rides amazing even thought i was i little concern at first because according to the reviews they said they're to stiff and because i got Mag ride that got even more concern, after the install and about a week later in some areas on I95 CT roads sucks! i feel a little bit bumping but a member from one my audi groups on fb told to check my tires pressure and..... i was shock! all tires were on 70psi i bought the car 5 months and never thought on check it out trusting in the dealer from where i got the car so after i adjust all tires it was a BIG different.
Ohhh wow 70psi I can imagine sheesh lol I was debating h&r springs myself but so many people saying they were super harsh and that it would be uncomfortable to drive etc. I will say for springs h&r springs look the best for fitment hands down
Hey man! I'm so glad you made this video - I have a similar build to your S3 (IE Stage 2 93, I want to eventually get a flexfuel tune but will need an hpfp and some sensors) and wanted an OEM feeling ride but with a bit lower of a ride height. I was originally going to go for your initial recommendation, but after hearing this - it looks like I'll have to start looking into 034's springs instead! I'm also excited for your rear sway bar video as I'd been eyeing it for awhile. Do you have any plans to add 034's rear subframe and dog bone mounts? I've also heard great things about UNIbrace's XB3/Q for chassis stiffening.
Very nice setup! I highly recommend these springs. The more I drive the better they feel. It’s the perfect drop and is very oem+ feeling. I will be doing their mounts sometime soon as well! Going to be adding more 034 goodies
I have 034 lowering springs for my 2020 A3 -Sline but there just sitting I might just wait too get b16,s for a super flush fitment plus the spacers I have I should be good 👍🏽
I was very close myself to getting the b16s. Like in my cart with all my payment info typed it all I had to do was submit but I backed out lol. Didn’t wanna deal with the possible warning lights with the magride cancelers didn’t work right etc
@@DArias aye but if that’s the case 034 is the perfect setup 4 you and another thing is it’ll be even smoother for you brother if u get some coil spring sleeves specifically for 034 springs
Was debating getting them since they’re so cheap but no clunks squeaks or weird rattles but the extra insurance for none of that by getting the sleeves isn’t a bad idea!
Honestly, these have an extremely oem+ feel. Ride super close to stock and her win jersey I haven’t hit anything big really and our roads are TRASH. For the price they’re worth a shot mark!
I'm curious how you've found these springs to perform long term? I'm thinking of getting them for my S3 but I live in the Boston area a the road around here can be really bad. I'm also planning on downsizing to an 18" wheel so that should help as well but I really don't want the car to feel super stiff and bouncy when I encounter those bad roads.
40 sidewall which is taller than the stock 35 maybe the camera doesn’t pick it up well but it’s def lower than stock and sits about the same as my last suspension
Also it’s not meant to be a huge drop either this is approx 1 inch drop form factory. For example an h&r super sport spring will get you about a 2 inch drop
Hey man, yes I am! I’ve been some decent miles on them from track days to back road driving and the car still feels great! After they settled a few hundred miles after install they felt even better. I’m surprised you aren’t liking the mss I’ve heard great things about mss adjustables
@@DArias yes. The ride is what you describe feels like the struts in the front is going to explode when I hit a raised bridge isolators on the freeway.
Super possible they may be a tiny bit loose. Same happened to me on my front end links when I was working on suspension I had a super slight clunk and checked everything and seemed all good and tight but decided to just tighten each side just a bit more and that did it. It’s possible you may have to just snug it a bit more
@@DArias thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it. I’ll check that to see if it resolves the issue.. btw I love you build and have been following it from the start
2 ways, if you have connectors on the bottom of your struts if you Jack up your car then you have it or if you go into your suspension setup in your menu and it allows you to change your suspension feel from comfort to dynamic etc you have it
