Audi a4 b6 Front Axle replacement

Torque
Bolts connecting the driveshaft to the drive flange on the transmission to 30 ft/lb
14mm axle bolt, tighten it to 85 ft/lb + 1/2 turn
Notes: To install the new axle you will have to turn the steering wheel all the way in on that side. (If you are doing the left side axle, turn it all the way right / if you are doing the right side axle, turn all the way left)

Freakin life saver! Its been so long since i touched my audi and its a rust belt warrior so i was NOT looking forward to ripping it apart. Im pumped and abiut to put the new axles in tonight now!

115Nm (85ft lb) + 1/2 turn

Where did you find the allen inner bolts to get rid of the triple square ones?

They came with the Axel when I first replaced it.

@@igsgarage well thanks for uploading this video man! it made things alot easier finding out you can jack the suspension up to get the axle out instead of having to take more stuff off.

@@coltonw9359 taking off control arms is a lot of work. Better this way.
