Hey Guys!
Today I worked super hard and talked to the camera less and was able to get Both of the Rear speakers installed into the A4.
Which by the way are Focal Flax series PS-165fx.
Same as what I did in the front.
I butchered out the original speaker so that I could 'sandwich clamp' the new Flax 6.5" mid bass into the Original Audi Door pod, which mounts to the door and seals off from the door card really nice.
Choose to be Happy & I will see you tomorrow.

What color wires were the main power supply connected to on the crossover? Not the woofer and Tweeter ones.... I have 7 wires I'm assuming they all go to the amp but which one did you splice them to?

Hello from Spain! I have also mounted the focal ps 165 fx on the front doors, and on the rear the ps165 f, an 8 "sub kicker under the seat and I love how it sounds. Thank you very much for showing us the work you do, keep it up. A hug!!

Which colour wires are positive and negative on these cars. I always see a brown wire and another. Who is who. Cheers

As a suggestion for the customers sake. Would it be easy enough to put a sub in a box in the boot so they have a sub while the RF one arrives.

Keaton Hall 165mm Audi Concert is a media unit type, not releted to speakers.

I know this is an older video but I have a VW Passat about the same year as this A4 and they are similar cars. What I did with my doors is pop the grill off the door panel using a soldering iron to melt the plastic... I put PRV Mids mounted on the outside of the panel and put a grill cover on top of it protecting it from getting kicked. Looks better and made a big difference in sound quality. Took about 15 to 20 minutes per door tops. I also mounted Super Tweeters near them using a hole saw and now they look / sound clean.

tip use a little hot glue to mount tweeters and RTV around that so you can put the panel on and it can set in the car. time mangement.

you could have just pried the speaker basket out of the enclosure I saved all my stock speakers and my 6.5" kickers fit in the oem enclosure perfectly without any mods whatsoever.

+Smokie Vapez these were all not a separate pod+woofer setup. They were all one piece of plastic.
