I would not try to wrap with vinyl or upholster. I think you are right that the shape is too complex, plus the added thickness would probably interfere with the perfect fitment you have achieved. I would use SEM spray texture and satin black vinyl dye spray. The subtle texture will give it an OEM look and vinyl dye provides a good durable finish. I have used this combination on custom A-pillars to great affect. Cheers!

I think the matte/saturn black you have goes really well, I'd leave/few extra coats, cheapest and probably the nicest looking out of all options. great job mate

How ever you do the tweeter pods I would definitely leave them a dark color as they are very stealth looking and hard to see but easily heard.

If I didnt have an suv, i would recreate my old system from the 90's. 4 10" pioneer free air on a baffleboard powered by 2 punch 150. I like this simple setup with that sub location.

You'll want to pull out and sound deaden the switch controller in the door cards. It's pretty common an issue across brands where they fail to isolate them from rattles and vibrations.

i want to see you install a rear sub and internal speakers on an audi sedan s3 2015+ using mobridge da1 with an amp. lots of people will watch if you do it.

How do you think a Honda Odyssey would sound replacing the rear side panel 6.5 factory speakers with 6.5 subwoofers in those locations? I know the panels would need to be dampened and the plastic parts around the speaker. Thank you!

I have 2 6x9 subwoofers in my parcel tray with its own amp. It compliments the Hertz Energy components in the doors and center channel in the front.

Free sub in trunk is much more better than boxed. Air loop is not so much but i like!

Sounds super clean! The doubters have never heard cars with 6x9s in the parcel tray. Almost sounds like there's a subwoofer in the car.

Is there a compromise on shallow subs compared to the regular depth subwoofers? Given that they have all the same specs.

Im pretty sure the car tudns the radio off so it can let the starter motor can have full battery power - my car turns most things off, im fair certain thats the reason for that

What is the first tune? Those speakers look like hard DB. I think no centre dome for smooth bass, what do you think?

Did you re-run the calibration on the Pioneer after installing the latest subwoofer?

my pioneer avh tuner keeps shutting down and rebooting after about 10 min at high volume do you have any steps I can take too clear this up about too have too disconnect and either send it back or buy another brand if I go with another brand what would be a good one too go with

I think that's just how youtube is with everyone being like "nah uh, that's not gonna work" because.. I thought it would, especially in an audi where the trunk is a lot more sealed off then say a honda civic.
