@@Qualitymobilevideo I left a comment.....I didn't tag y'all tho. Y'all sell subs etc... or just school all us "can't sit with the cool kids" on audio stuff 😆😆 JK your info is Hella appreciated but now, I need your help/advice and guidance!!! THANK YOU
I'm trying to bass out a moped scooter. Under seat storage is where the sub and amp will be. Should I get another battery for extra power. And is moped 12volt different from 12volt car power. I've had tons of systems most head amp and subs. But only in cars. Miss my bass . Love my moped. Upgrading. Thanks. #jimmysee28......
They and a lot of audio shops would possibly lose money now that people wouldn’t need to go to them to know all that stuff. Which then leads to them not being able to sale them their services. BUT if they made an app for a couple of dollars I’d buy it lol.
This guy makes me want to wire my amp down to .25ohms and turn all the nobs to the right and just go crazy with a 10 minute 20htz sign wave and light cigs off the fire I start.
@@jaredalexander3403 I'm about to connect an amp next week as part of my job training. A lot of it has to do with consistency -- to keep exposing myself to the same information in different ways until it finally sticks.
Freakin great explanation! Definitely going to re-watch...maybe MANY times. I want to design/build my own system and needed this information. Thanks so much man.
FPLtips channel in youtube is the best voice I have ever heard in my life. Most of the people watch his channel just to hear his voice, not the content LOL
This is an actual sales tactic (not that he's selling anything but it's a widespread tactic many people use in the media and salesmen also use it too). Raise the voice, enunciate clearly, talk faster (but not too fast), use hand gestures to show confidence and help articulate the idea,
Man, what you're saying sounds like chinese to me! So much information. I need to find a newbie video that teaches the basics, like what's an ohm, then I'll come back and watch your video again. Alot of useful information though, thanks!
@@damienholland8103 i know im really late but if anyone sees this is and is having issues, look up some diagrams! specifically a website called 'crutchfield' that allows you to put in your set up and it will tell you how to wire it up! super easy.
The ohms section got me when he started with the 3 subs. He said 3 ohms or 1.34 ohms. I didnt get how he got 1.34 or hiw hes saying 3 or 1.34 like its the same thing
@5.39 OMG that the exact amp i have(GM-A3602). got it at walmart for $40 but I'm already replacing it lol just got my sub installed after 2 weekends of work and hours of youtube videos. managed to get it right on the first try but the amp is severely underrated for my sub(370rms) so im replacing the pioneer amp with a MA Audio HK298 (400rms output at 1 ohm) . These videos were an integrall part of getting this project done Thank you so much!
2400 watt amp mono block 1 channel sub 2'15 kicker comp c. Bass up gain up bass knob up bass up in car. It rocks bang but not pushing them. Had a zx1000.1 amp to kicker comp bang crazy insane. Sad they no longer make the zx amps
I’m glad I saw your video. Been studying for almost a month for future set up sub woofer. Either gonna use car amp+psu or an home power amp. Gonna compare where I can get less. But no brainer subs for cars are meant for car amps. Most of the local videos I watched here are recommending 1500w rms mono car amp to match for 500rms sub speaker. For the head room I guess. Now that my mind is in peace. Just gonna add 20% more from the speakers rms then boom all good. I only need to know 1 last thing. Matching amperage to the amplifier. Thanks for your vid mate! New sub here from Philippines 🇵🇭
I know what im doing and he confused me. lower ohm load will sound loud ,bad for amp. higher ohm sounds good and makes you wish you ran it at at .5 ohm
Excellent video! I couldn't have asked for better instructions. Even as a noob, I'm totally confident I can make what I have work and I even know exactly what to upgrade when financially able. Muchly appreciated!
This video was incredible. You made something I was clueless about fun while you made me feel like I was being personally berated. Loved it! I wish the cursing hadn't been bleeped out. Your comedic timing with the facetious outbursts were spot on and made me truly laugh. Thank you
I really like the way you thoroughly explained everything in this video. Also the way you remind people that you aint got time for if he all this and go relined it and find out for yourself. I feel like maybe more teachers should follow that method.
Quality Mobile Video I'm trying to get a full understanding, I ordered an 1800w rms/3000peak dual 2ohms (1.4 dc). From that I'm trying to have that 1 sub & the door speakers wired to the amp, but I don't understand what I should get...? I had the perfect idea of brand (Orion), but tbh idk how to read everything out. HELLPPPPP
so here in series 2+2=4 Ohm that makes more sense, where does the parallel 2+2=1 Ohm lose 3 Ohm, we are jumping the inputs on the wooffer to create less resistance, how it works?
Cheers bro... I have a small car doesn't need a large sound just fair enough... I need a list everything that I'll need to makes a nice sound including amplifiers bass speakers door speakers etc
Ok so I have the old school planet audio big bang 2400.1d on 4 audiopipe bd2 12s I had them wired to 4 ohms but I just changed them to 2 ohms which way should I have them wired 🤔
I’m lost. You mind just putting a list together of what I need? My budget is like $300-$400 for both the sub and amp. I know it’s a bit cheap but you don’t make stonks in highschool. I’d really appreciate it if you could, if not, that’s cool. Thanks.
Thank you for this. If I have a 1000 watt amp that puts out 500 watts at 2ohm and 1000 watt at 1ohm, and I want to wire 2 subs at 500 watts rms each, do I wire the 2 subs to 1ohm or 2ohm to get 500 watts to each sub
The thing is that most good name brand amps That say they have a power output of a 1000w@4 ohms are putting out 1470w or even more power than labled and you run a dual VC that's 2ohm 500w per coil to get a 1000w@4 and your amp is pushing out 1470w@4 at it's cleanest point so now you're giving that 500w coil 730w so your better off to find something that's 750w pre 2 ohm coil to get 1500w@4ohm load? My 1997 Rockford Fosgate Punch Power 500.2 is 250@4 per channel 500@2 1000w@4 bridged but when I had it repaired and tested the numbers were 335@4 675@2 1470@4 bridged @14.4v and believe me these amps are power hogs and will suck the life out of the battery and alternator
Bro you dry ass know all of this like spelling your name ! You got me taking notes on the kool now !! Thanks bro bro, keep it up !! I'm watching and learning !!
I have two 12" champion series pros that are 2000 watts max each with a 600 watt rms each, wired in series what amp do you think would be best for them and do i need to wire them in parallel?
*Alright I'm lost, can somebody else help me?* I'm looking at a single 12" sub that has an RMS rating of 1000w It has dual voicecoils that is 1 ohm each. Am I able to connect this sub to an amp that puts out 1000w at 1ohm and actually get my 1000w?
So I'm wanting to run 1 sub in a harley hard saddle bag. What would be the perfect set up? I'm looking at a 3000 watt 1 channel amp with a 400 watt rms at 4 ohms, 650 watt rms @ 2ohms, and 1000 watt rms @1 ohm. Should I run two 10s or 1 12 inch sub dual or single coil? Your help is much appreciated.
Nice video! But I have a? when you have a bridgeable amp (250 for voice + 800 for one subwoofer) hooked together dose it it give the 800 subwoofer more power if needed?
So I have 2 dual 1 ohm subwoofers at 1500 watts rms, if I parallel wire them I can get 0.5 ohms out of an amp so does that mean I need a 3000 watt amp that is 0.5 ohm stable?
I have been looking for the answer to this quest got a 5 channel amp for my car speakers 4ohms does my sub need to be 4 or can I go 2 and yes it’s has ratings for both?
