How did you know which relay to replace? I have the exact same problem on my sons, A5 coupe and I am not sure which relay it is. I assume this is the box located under the windshield washer fill tube. No owners manual or service manual.
Will the 643 work in place of the 645 I have a bunch of 643 relays I’m having crank no start my fuel pump fuse don’t have any power to it and I don’t hear the pump prime
I will buy a new relay and try this. I have exactly the same issue . Randomly it does start and once the engine is warm then it will be fine. How ever it doesn’t after a while of just sitting there.
hi bro i have a same problem in my audi A5 2009 . i see there are 2 relays in the fuse box so i am confused which one i need to change can you please help me
Was the steering not hard before you replaced it with that different relay? That part of the video is a little confusing! Usually all steering wheels are tight when car is not runing
Hey, 2010 RS5 here, very similar issue to you however it is showing me "Engage P or N to start engine".. Battery died, I fully charged it and still same error.
Mine is having this issue is there a way of find out out what relay it is or would it be same on all? I have 2011 tfsi but left tools at worl so couldn’t open it
@@Ghofy in all fairness I had a family of mice living in the engine bay so I had to get the car towed to a car electrician a day or two after they chewed through more cables
I’m having this problem with my 2012 s5, the car won’t turn over at all and I can’t get it to read any codes to me for some reason, yet the battery is fine.
What's the issue with your car.. dose the engine turn over when trying to start it.if so, then you have a different issue than the car i was working on. As on this one, the ignition just came on.. engine wouldn't try to turn over
@@davidcrichlow5300 I have a 2012 Audi a4 car wont start or crank as soon as i put the key fob in the dash says “ ignition on” before i even try to start it, do you know what it can be?
You can try.. but I had 2 different audi a7 2011- 2013 vehicles come in with similar issues to this one.. but they both turned out to be a faulty main ecu unfortunately... due to water damage as dirt clogged the drain plug under the windscreen wipers coursing water to reach the ecu
