You forget one step. if you have air suspension, you must put the car in garage mode. or at least set the setting in the mmi so that the air suspension is locked
A hell of a good job as usual Jarrad, Over at the Ross-Tech VCDS forum we get alot of 2.0 engine questions (oil consumption and timing chains) and I usually send them over to you and advise them to watch all of your engine videos. Merry Christmas.
I put oem pads on my 13 q5 3 years ago. Didnt come with a wear sensor. 75 bux for that. I reused the old one. So far the original rotors are still good
So am I crazy for putting some anti-seize on the hub and contact surface for the rim and the rotor and make removing these a snap? Also, the difference in brake caliper build quality between my Jetta & Passat and this Audi A6 is insane.
How many miles did this 2017 A7 have on it? Burnt through pads already on a 2017 must have been really enjoying the heck out of it! The Akebonos will likely last the remainder of that cars life span. I have 70k miles on my Akebono ceramic pads and they still look like new thickness.
